Calm lakeside parking on wild land with several spaces, flat ground and a small swimming area with a beach. The original pontoon is no longer there, and recent reports mention rubbish and building debris around the access area. Fishermen need access to the water, while the Glebe Art Gallery is within walking distance.

Quiet. Not the most fun place in Ireland. Do not park near the water because fishermen need access to the lake. The jetty is indeed gone. Space for several motorhomes.
Great spot for a night. Lots of rooms, flat ground and a nice little swim spot with a beach.
Unfortunately, the jetty no longer exists, and the parking area is littered with rubbish, rubble, and empty alcohol bottles.
The place itself is very beautiful, but teenagers repeatedly made noise on the jetty until after midnight. Very muddy in the rain!
Nice and quiet place.
A single space at the end of a small path leading to the lakeside with a jetty. Once there, the place is superb, but the access path is used as a dumping ground for construction rubble. Not very attractive.
Quiet place in a wonderfully romantic setting. The loudest sounds here are the sheep and birds—simply delightful—welcome to Ireland! Locals occasionally come to enjoy the lake from their cars. Glebe House and Gallery, with a café, is just around the corner. The national park is only 10 minutes away by van; overnight stays are prohibited there.
More like a dump. The spot at the end is pretty, but one vehicle takes up the whole space. Locals like coming here; two vehicles arrived within fifteen minutes. So we did not stay and found a quiet place a few kilometres farther on.

A pleasant, quiet place by a pond for fishermen. Nice view and a monastery nearby to visit, with some works of art.
Quiet and secluded—we were alone—despite a few visits from young people having fun, who were fairly discreet. However, there were so many flying insects! By the time we lowered the mosquito screens, three or four biting insects were already inside!
A truly perfect place to spend a very peaceful night off-grid and self-sufficient! Wow, absolutely wonderful. There was one other camper. The next morning we removed some rubble left by other people, probably teenagers, and continued on to Londonderry.
