Unnamed Road, PE8
Been here?
This is a long, spacious lay-by on a country road, generally suitable for a quiet overnight stop. Recent reports mention plenty of room, a level hard surface and little traffic, although large potholes and fly-tipping are currently concerns. The surrounding area has fields, pleasant views and nearby walks. Take care when arriving, especially at night, because of large ruts along the road edge.

a load of fly tipping and pot holes. police were there taking photos of the rubbish so didn't stay proberbly be fine if the fly tipping wasnt there
Great place for overnight stop. Very quite plenty of room. Several other vans were there.
Quiet night in a large, flat, hard-surfaced parking area. Drive slowly when parking because there are large ruts along the roadside. Be careful arriving at night.
Roadside parking—simple place to spend the night while traveling.
Pretty spot with nice views, not completely flat but a lovely big space and nice walks near by
it's a good spot to stay I don't think I would stay here overnight by myself
lovely quiet spot. peaceful nights sleep. very little traffic. reasonably level. joined by one other van. felt very safe. lots of space.
Relatively flat. The road is reasonably quiet, although several lorries sped past in the early hours. Also quite exposed to the elements.
Quiet overnight and flat. Looks like it's popular with flytippers. Great if you want a restful night, but the views will have you looking for a different daytime parkup. Good access to Peterborough services.
Lovely quiet location surrounded by fields.
Very long lay-by on a quiet country road . peaceful nights sleep . Good phone signal and 4G
A lovely place in the middle of the fields to spend the night. We stayed from 9:30 p.m. to 7 a.m., and the road alongside the small parking area was quiet.
Great little lay-by, fairly level, with nice views. An occasional car passes, but there are even fewer by about 7:30. Close to some nice villages with great pubs.
Beautiful place with a view over grain fields. Cars do pass regularly. You can hear the main road in the far distance.
