Lakeside parking, rough access

The access is quite adventurous, so if you're afraid of branches touching your motorhome, don't come. There are several spaces for small or medium-sized vehicles. There is access to water, and if you want a bit of entertainment, you only need to cross the lake—provided you have a boat or a float, of course! Have fun!

Very rough, badly maintained road. We had a rental van, so we were careful and drove slowly. Easy to park, but the area is not very quiet; many cyclists ride along the paths. On the other hand, access to the lake is very easy, with many beaches and coves.

A small, peaceful spot with a view of the lake, enough space to park a car and pitch your tent.

Great spot. Accessible with a normal car, without 4WD. Still, be careful: the road is bad, and due to inattention we scraped the underside twice. The nicer spaces farther back are more suitable for SUVs or 4x4s.

Very busy in summer, and people leave their waste behind. A long, poorly maintained unpaved track that is almost inaccessible in winter without 4WD. On the other side of the lake there is a spacious parking area with a restaurant.

Passed by the site on July 9, 2023. An old, run-down van and quite a few people. It did not seem clean. Avoid.

A formerly magical and peaceful place that became a dump since its arrival on P4N. During my last visit, there were three old motorhomes with dog-owning punks parked among the trees. The area was full of rubbish and the guys were lying comatose on the ground. As I was leaving, I crossed paths with the water and forestry wardens, who had come to evict and fine everyone.

I was unable to access the site; large blocks of stone had been installed to prevent access, perhaps recently.

As others have said, nice place but was crowded with 4 other Vans and not so friendly people blocking access to the water. Track down was managable with a non 4x4 in dry conditions

I am leaving a poor rating because it was impossible for me to access the site. A forestry service barrier was blocking the way. I retreated to another spot. For information, this was in July. Perhaps it is open at other times.

Not busy at all, a few cyclists passed by. Amazing view & very quiet. You’d manage going down in a non-4x4 just fine, but might struggle with a low car as the road is quite uneven.

Many vehicles on a Saturday—more than six—and people playing music very loudly on the opposite shore, so you can forget about peace and quiet.
