Been here?
Very quiet, flat countryside spot with a few possible places among the trees, about 10 minutes from Carcassonne. Access is via a narrow, difficult track, suitable mainly for small vans, with branches brushing vehicles in places. Recent information identifies it as a hunting spot, where gunshots may be heard.

A hunting spot for locals... Woken by the sound of gunshots, no thanks!Translating
very quite and peaceful, narrow path to get to one of the two spots. We have a small T4 van and still had lots of branches rubbing the side of the van. We stayed at the spot towards the end of the path where you can't drive anymore. The other is on the side half way through. Translating
Very difficult to access, even with an SUV...Translating
Quiet place, but the road is suitable only for small vans.Translating
Superb, very peaceful place! There are several possible spots. The access may look intimidating, but it is fine in a van. We slept extremely well!Translating
Very good spot, with a somewhat narrow access road, but once settled in, it is very peaceful.Translating
Fantastic place. Completely silent, far from civilization. The access road is unpaved but easy to drive. At one point the road is overgrown with tall grass, but you simply drive through it, and then there are two spots in the forest where you can stay. An evening walk with a view of Carcassonne is recommended.Translating
There is no clear place to leave the van. We turned off the main road to the left and found that the track led nowhere. We spent a quiet night without seeing any cars, but felt uneasy because of the nearby neighbors.Translating
