A private parking area in the national park overlooks a large garden with access to the Kirnitzsch River. The road and Kirnitzschtalbahn are directly beside the site, but evenings and nights are quiet. The railway runs every half hour during the day, and the wet grounds are a 10-minute walk away. Dogs are welcome on a leash, while electricity is available by arrangement; internet reception is practically unavailable.

Positive: Friendly welcome, possibility of using the adjacent garden, good starting point for hikes. Negative: Simple parking area in front of a fenced property, immediately beside the Kirnitzschtal tram and road, with practically no internet reception. The site is really only suitable for people who are very insensitive to noise and do not mind standing by the roadside overnight.
We spent two nights here. The only disadvantage is that you are right beside the road and the small railway line. However, we stayed facing the garden and it did not bother us at all, especially since there is absolute silence in the evening and at night. On request, we were even able to use the garden undisturbed with the dogs, and it is a great starting point for hikes! You should know that there is little or no reception here, so offline hiking maps are recommended.
