Παράλιο Άστρους - Ξηροπήγαδο, 22001, Kato Vervena
Been here?
A free, marked and level parking area beside the sea, on the tavern’s side of the road. The tavern is closed, while motorhome parking is prohibited opposite. Nights are very calm, with occasional road noise in the morning and jackals nearby. The beach is directly across from the parking area.

Flat parking area; we were alone. The tavern is closed. We heard jackals. The night was very quiet, with a little traffic noise in the morning, nothing disturbing.
As the previous comment explained in detail, this is a marked parking area, pleasantly level and opposite the beach. Unlike the somewhat more distant area where signs prohibit camping. The police drove past and said nothing. The road is somewhat audible but did not bother us.
Free parking in front of a beautiful beach. You can use the parasols, sun loungers, shower and toilet with a small €3.50 purchase at the tavern. Despite this, many people prefer parking in the nearby prohibited area, where they risk hefty fines of €300–€600 because of the recent parking law.
Tavern under renovation and closed, as are the toilets. One kilometer below the castle there is a large car park with a beautiful beach and a food truck, without services or prohibitions.
Very nice place to spend the night. The owner speaks some German. The beach is beautiful, and if you eat here, you can also use the beach loungers and toilets.
Very friendly owner. The food and drinks are delicious.
It is a public beach car park where camping and overnight stays are prohibited by sign.
