Koninklijke Wandeling, 3080, Tervuren
Been here?
This is a large, clean car park in the forest beside the Arboretum, with benches and excellent walking routes. There is no height limit and no waste bin. It is not always calm, with occasional road traffic and aircraft during the day, while hikers and dog walkers arrive from first light. Nights are generally quiet, and overnight motorhome stays are tolerated.

Beautiful spot. Not very calm. Road passing bit with (few) cars until late at night. Hikers, dig walkers parking with first light. I was alone at night, but got up to 6 cars around me at 7am.
Perfect. Perfectly level where I parked, against the bicycle-park barrier. SFR network is useless. No bins.Translating
Very good, quiet, and ideally located. No supervision. I highly recommend this spot.Translating
Beautifully located by the arboretum. Ideal for long walks or a short round with the dog. We arrived on Saturday at 5 p.m. and just managed to get a parking space on the sloping edge. After our walk at around 7 p.m., the place was almost empty and we were able to move to a level spot. Three campers overnight. From 7:30 Sunday morning, hikers began arriving.Translating
A beautiful stay, nobody batted an eyelid that we were there so they must be quite used to motorhomes staying the night. We were there from around 4pm until 9am a couple of motorhomes arrived later on but no issues in terms of noise from other cars. Ice cream truck parked there during the day and the woods are breathtaking, loads of marked trails and so many tree varieties. We would really rec!
Beautifully located for walking or cycling. Very busy and full during the weekend. A space only became available around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday. Planes flying overhead and passing traffic continued until reasonably late. Very quiet at night.Translating
We spent one night here, a great place to start the walks. A very peaceful night with the sound of little owls in the background. From the rooftop tent, you can faintly hear the motorway, but perhaps the wind was simply blowing the wrong way. Top location for one night.Translating
Beautiful, quiet place with great walking opportunities. No planes fly at night, although they are quite audible during the day. But it did not bother us. Thanks for allowing motorhomes to stay here. We will remember this wonderful place.Translating
We spent two very peaceful nights, Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday morning around 9 a.m. there was more activity, with people going running and walking. On Monday morning there were hardly any cars. No noise at all during the nights. Exceptional for sleeping so close to Brussels. There are no nearby bins. Please respect the area to help keep it available.Translating
Great for one night. A few cars throughout the night but nothing else. On a Sunday morning (around 10:00) it gets busy with hikers, so best to leave befor. Can recommend!
What an amazing park up for the night, super quiet, level and so pretty. Brilliant walks in the morning around the Arboretum with the dog. Such a lovely spot to stay after the business of Brussels
We spent two nights here after visiting Brussels. Quiet place, although there is some aircraft noise and traffic from 7 a.m. This allowed us to get into Brussels early and find parking easily.Translating
Very peaceful parking area surrounded by a lush green park. We stopped for a few hours to have lunch and rest. Recommended.Translating
Very quiet at night. More people during the day.Translating
Very quiet place to park. We were the only camper, apart from one abandoned camper. Lots of walkers and cyclists coming and going. It becomes quiet toward evening, and we had a very peaceful night. Beautiful, quiet place among the trees. No bins, so please take your rubbish with you to help keep this lovely place available.Translating
Very quiet location in the middle of the forest. Had a very good, free night's sleep.Translating
Excellent! Safe, calm, flat, and really lost in the woods… to the point to have basically no data connection! Only drawback, there are quite some people passing by in the morning, but it didn't disturb me.
Lovely place, very busy with walkers in the morning, especially at weekends.Translating
A very idyllic parking place. We stayed there for one night with another camper. There are no bins. You occasionally hear planes. There was a large, loud party nearby, probably noise from the adjacent rooftop bar. Unfortunately, one car was very disturbing and stood next to us for about an hour and a half with extremely loud music. But otherwise, highly recommended.Translating
Slept peacefully, with only some aircraft noise. Beautiful forest for walking through. We did the Royal Walk and were amazed by the variety of trees and plants.Translating
A truly excellent parking area in nature, with a beautiful view of the arboretum. A few cars, but not bothersome—usually people parking to walk their dogs and/or go running. Very quiet place. The people we met were friendly toward us, as is generally the case in Belgium!Translating
Beautiful place, right next to a wonderful forest for walking. You can indeed hear planes, but not loudly enough to be annoying. We had no traffic noise at night. We were woken by a late-night encounter between two men at around 3 a.m. The parking area fills up with walkers in the morning.Translating
We had a quiet night. The parking area filled up very quickly in the morning. We were there from Friday to Saturday. Dogs must be kept on a leash in the surrounding area.Translating
Comments about air traffic are greatly exaggerated. A short distance from a major city, you will always notice something, but you are literally in the middle of the forest. Beautiful inland parking place, definitely worth it!Translating
Very busy road, flight path of Brussels Airport, and nighttime encounters. Avoid this place if you are looking for peace and quiet. No services.Translating
