Been here?
This wild spot overlooks the Taunus, fields, and a nature reserve, with a certified public drinking-water fountain called Ludwigsbrunnen. Bins and benches are available, and a 3km walk leads around the nature reserve. Turning space is limited, and large agricultural vehicles must be able to pass. Traffic noise can be noticeable.

Highly recommended: a 3 km morning walk around the nature reserve. Simply follow the farm track northwest; it joins the cycle path beside the road, which leads back to Ludwigsbrunnen. Please park so that large agricultural vehicles can get around the bend at the fountain!
Great for one night. View of the Taunus and fields (nature reserve). Spring water. Trash bin. Benches. I would use this place again; everything is very clean (please keep it that way!).
Perfect for a walking excursion. Also manageable for one night; it is somewhat noisy because of the road, but if you are not too sensitive, it is fine.
A lot of people came to the spring throughout the evening. A few cars also came when it was dark and left. We didn't sleep very well as there's a busy road nearby. Saying that there is a lot of wildlife around there and the landscape is beautiful! Didn't try the water as it was quite sulphury.
