12 Hertug Hans Vej, 6400, Sønderborg
Been here?
A campsite about 200 m from the port, divided into a main area and a motorhome section. It has a kitchen, common room, clean but older sanitary facilities, and free warm showers. The center and castle are about 1.5 km away along the coastal promenade; some road noise is possible at the edges, but nights are generally quiet.

Nice place for one or two nights. Owner who takes pride in the business. Within walking distance (about 1.5 km), via a coastal promenade, to the centre and castle. Bring a few levelling blocks to sleep flat. Some road noise at the edges, but quiet at night.Translating
The campsite was difficult to find. It is also divided by a road. The different sections should have been better signposted to avoid having to turn around a large vehicle. We stayed in the motorhome pitches and appreciated that they were not cramped. The service building is a little worn but very clean. The harbour is nearby. The centre and swimming spots are within walking distance. The surroundings are incredibly beautiful. We will return.Translating
Great place! The staff speak German. Online booking and automated check-in are possible. Everything you need is there. Sanitary facilities are clean, not super modern, but adequate. We will return.Translating
Beautiful, cosy place like those known in Denmark. Sanitary facilities are not modern, but always clean and equipped with everything needed. Showers are free. Online booking and access with licence-plate recognition worked without problems.Translating
Great place, very helpful operators, excellent location for exploring Sonderborg and the surrounding area. The site consists of two areas: the main site and the motorhome area. Our pitch was gravel with a grassy terrace. However, much of the main site is grass, and two motorhomes immediately got stuck because the ground was very soft. The sanitary facilities are older but very well maintained.Translating
Cosy campsite with two sections. The sanitary building is functional and old, but clean. It may be a little small when fully occupied. The city is quickly reachable along the sea, and the beach is within walking distance. We would return.Translating
Large pitches, but due to the strong wind and rain we could not remain under the trees. Acorns kept falling on the roof. It was not too busy, so we could move. The check-in machine was broken, so we had to wait. Pitches were spacious but not very level. The toilets at the motorhome area were closed; we had to cross a road to use the campsite toilets. The toilets were good.Translating
Quiet, clean, with a beautiful dining room and kitchen. There is even a dedicated, very clean area for anglers to process their catch.Translating
Great place to enjoy the city and beautiful promenade in peace. Everything is within walking distance. Sanitary facilities are clean and the site is very well maintained. We stayed one night, which was perfectly adequate. The owner is very friendly and everything went smoothly.Translating
Great place for exploring the beautiful city on foot along the beach promenade! Code required for the sanitary building; warm showers included in the price. Pressing the button once gives one minute of warm water! Sanitary facilities clean. Some pitches are uneven, but we did not need levelling blocks. Two people with van, electricity, water and warm showers currently cost €40 per night. Very nice operator! Recommended!Translating
Adequate and fine for one night and a city visit. Deducted points because hot showers cost extra and could use renovation, although they are clean. Some pitches are very uneven.Translating
We were there from August 30 to September 3, 2025. Very nice, quiet campsite. Clean, hot showers, though not all were open. Otherwise everything was fine. Great for trips into Sonderborg. We will return.Translating
We will return. You feel comfortable at this site. But do not forget levelling blocks. Very beautiful city with a lovely promenade, especially within walking distance from the campsite.Translating
Beautiful city campsite, clean, great location on the outskirts. Sønderborg is worth a visit; overall, full marks.Translating
Expensive and poor service. Check-in did not work satisfactorily; there is no privacy, and personal information, including payment-card details, can be seen by passers-by. It took a long time to receive the confirmation email, and the campsite manager did not answer the phone. Two toilets were locked, leaving only two showers open at the motorhome area, which is on a slope.Translating
Very nice campsite near the city centre, marina and beaches. The operators are very friendly. Sanitary and utility buildings are spotless. We will definitely return.Translating
Clean site; it was the quietest place we stayed during our holiday. Very close to the centre and harbour. Very sloping pitches. We were lucky to get a level one. We would return.Translating
Nice, well-maintained campsite within walking distance of the village, marina and beach. Good Wi-Fi! Fresh bake-off bread every morning. Easy to book through their system. Large, nice service building and well-organised facilities for filling and emptying.Translating
Ideal place for exploring Sonderborg. The site was clean but very uneven; we were lucky. The sanitary building on our side was clean but very old, with few toilets and showers.Translating
Beautiful campsite in the town of Sonderborg. Ideal base for the marina, 200 m away, and Sønderborg Castle and town centre, 1,000 m away along the seafront promenade. Showers were fine, and water, wastewater, electricity and disposal facilities were available. The owner is very nice. Be sure to bring levelling blocks; not all pitches are level.Translating
Good service. We arrived as early as 10 a.m. and initially only had a pitch from 2 p.m., but he quickly found an available place. Good facilities. However, it is a very open site without any privacy.Translating
Nice owners and beautiful site, but directly beside a road. The main section is quite uneven in places. A major criticism is the dilapidated playground, and weed killer is sprayed everywhere. It is not very family-friendly.Translating
Beautiful site, sanitary facilities okay and clean, friendly operators.Translating
Nice site, quite busy. Sanitary facilities are all fine, and everyone is very friendly. Good location for the city; when it is windy, the sailboats make quite a lot of noise. The bread rolls were so-so, more like bake-off products. Good facilities for washing and cooking; we did not test the laundry. We would come back.Translating
I cannot recommend it. Open, not very cosy campsite that is well located for the town centre. Pitches are quite uneven. Good toilets, etc. I paid 500 Swedish kronor for one night with electricity. Hot water was not included in the shower; it cost 3 Danish kroner per minute. I was charged for 9 minutes although I used 2.5 minutes. After protesting, I paid 31 Danish kroner for a 2.5-minute shower. Cannot recommend it!Translating
Simple site, large pitches, sanitary facilities are new and well maintained. The shop sells fresh baked goods and small essentials. The town and centre are within walking distance. A beautiful route leads into town along the harbour.Translating
