Free, flat parking close to the port, seafront and free beach, with no services. The newest report found it saturated and inaccessible for a 7,20M motorhome, although other recent comments describe large spaces. Traffic on the main road and nearby venues can make it noisy. It may still suit a one-night stop when space is available.

Extremely overcrowded with many cars. Impossible access for a 7.20-metre motorhome. We went back to the one 4 km north of Viareggio.
An excellent car park for motorhomes, even large ones. Free and just a short distance from the seafront. It is on a main road, so traffic can be heard. Large parking spaces. No services.
I stayed here for two nights. Very quiet place, close to the promenade, town centre and beach. Perfect.

Car park used for one night to visit the carnival. A little noisy, but in the absence of anything else it is more than adequate. Safe place, and the carnival seafront is conveniently 15 to 20 minutes away on foot.
A truly terrible experience. We slept here on a Saturday night; there is a nightclub nearby, with extremely loud music until almost dawn, people shouting, urinating and vomiting around and on your camper/car, and some people hitting their hands on or rocking the camper as they passed. After the nightclub closed, cars and scooters kept going back and forth. Convenient as a car park for going to Darsela, five minutes away on foot, but absolutely not recommended for sleeping.
Car park used during the day by shipyard workers. Arrive after 5pm, when they leave the spaces, for a walk around town and to see the port. We did not stay overnight because we did not know what time the workers started. We preferred the large car park outside.

Free car park; the motorhome area next door was closed. Quiet, without services or shade, but close to the centre. We spent one night here, perfect for taking a stroll in Viareggio. There were many other motorhomes at night.
