10 Carretera Ávila, 45515, Maqueda
Been here?
Picnic area near the castle with tables, swings and a bench, but vehicle access is currently blocked by a barrier. Recent reports say there is very little space and that it is suitable for a stop rather than an overnight stay. The area is close to the A5, so traffic noise may be audible.

A halfway stop to use the picnic area and continue on. I do not think it would be pleasant to spend the night there.Translating
It is closed to vehicles with a barrier, and consequently there is little space.Translating
On the way to Portugal, a shady spot worthy of five stars in this 40-degree heat, with a table for lunch. Greetings from Portugal.Translating

It is a quiet place, although next to the road to Maqueda and near the A5, so some traffic noise can be heard. There are no services, and the park barrier is closed, presumably because of the neighbors, but you can park on the side at the foot of the castle. The village is nearby.Translating
Area is now barred off (21/03/2023). There's still a place to park for a small van but staying the night might be out of the question. Fine for a stop to eat and stretch your legs
Quiet place to eat, with water and tables.Translating
There is no parking; the entrance to the playground is closed. The only place to stay is opposite the slope leading up to the castle. It is not suitable at all.Translating
