Been here?
This paid car park is in central Rijeka and is convenient for visiting the city, but it is frequently crowded and very tight. Recent information reports 0,80€/h, with free parking on Saturday afternoon and Sunday, although camper charges have caused confusion. Only small vans that fit normal car spaces are suitable; larger motorhomes may struggle or be unable to park. Overnight parking is reportedly possible, but suitability is limited.

Good parking in the center.Translating
Great parking for visiting the city, free on Saturday afternoon and Sunday; otherwise €0.80 per hour. We were in an extended van. It seems possible to spend the night. Link for checking the availability and prices of parking spaces in Rijeka.Translating
Parking unsuitable for motorhomes. We struggled to park our 7.35 m vehicle, and there seem to be only two spaces for vans! €3 per hour, rounded up (€9 for 2.5 hours). Not recommended.Translating
I arrived on a Saturday at 7 p.m. I read the price signs and only saw an addition saying “Kamper sat. 3.” You might assume €3, but is that per hour, for a holiday, or per night? In the end, they charged us €49 for 15 hours. Everyone told me it was free on weekends. Beware, it is a scam targeting foreigners.Translating
Warning: very narrow, overcrowded parking lot! Not suitable for larger motorhomes. We just managed to get out with our 6 m camper van. Particularly nasty: if you drive in the turning lane, you are forced to enter the parking lot.Translating
Parking fee €3.05 per started hour, therefore €73.20 for 24 hours. The parking lot is often overcrowded, and there are only a few spaces suitable for small motorhomes. Unsuitable for larger motorhomes. The first half hour is free, but searching for a vacant space can take longer. There is no price information either at the entrance or at the payment machine.Translating
Attention! This site is unsuitable for motorhomes that do not fit into normal car parking spaces. Everything is very tightly packed, and the specially designated motorhome spaces are occupied by cars. Better use “Parking Cambierijeva” instead. There we had plenty of space and paid €6 for 3 hours. The city center was also within walking distance; my wife is pregnant.Translating
Beware: the signs say it is free on Sundays, but apparently that does not apply to campers. It is €3 per hour, so that was €9 for 2 hours and 3 minutes of parking.Translating
I’ve parked here summer of 2022 and 2023 without any issues. I have a Opel Vivaro, so I fit in the normal carpark spots. It is a very crowded parking lot for sure. On the weekdays (not sure of weekends) there’s a free public WC on the parking lot that’s pretty clean. There’s also a good coffee bar close by called “Striga” with good coffee, drinks, WiFi and a bathroom. Rijeka isn’t really a big city and there’s not a lot to see, so you’ll be fine with one day and maybe one night.
