Great little campsite—beautiful views and everything we needed for a night.Translating
Nice campsite lovely owner. Stayed on the hard standing near the entrance as the land was boggy from heavy rain. Relatively flat. £18 total (£6 per pitch and £6 x 2 adults). 2 toilet and shower blocks clean with hot water good pressure. Wash up and water spots nearby. Sauna onsite (think you have to book that separately). Just off the main road and turn in was fine for our VW T4. Would return!
Amazing place, even despite our bad weather. Very clean facilities, loveliest owner, and very decent price. Great access to hikes and tourist spots.
lovely place. We called at 6pm to arrive at 7pm. Owner was a lovely. 2 toilets, 2 showers & a disabled shower & toilet. To get to these there is a walk way along the side of the field between to hedgerows, I recommend doing in this in daylight first as in the dark is hard to find as it’s completely dark, no lights or street lights which is a stargazers dream on a clear night.
Nice farm campsite in the Peak District with a large, slightly sloping field, beautiful views, clean facilities, and a friendly welcome. Not expensive.Translating
Lovely, low key, simple campsite. The owners are brilliant, with simple prices(£6pppn+£6 for vehicle Aug ‘25) 25min walk down a beautiful winding footpath(turn right out of the campsite and walk down to the water treatment plant to pick up the path)brings you to the Old Hall Inn, a smashing very old pub serving food. Highly recommended!
Great campsite. It's small, but the facilities are great and the owners are lovely. Location is a short walk from Chinley or Chapel-en-le-frith. My favourite campsite in the Peaks District.
We stayed for 3 nights. The campsite is very well maintained, and the toilets and showers are spotless at all times of day. Several water points are available. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. The ground is slightly sloping but very spacious, perfect for small and medium-sized vans (no large motorhomes, as there is a risk of getting bogged down in rainy weather).Translating
