This small, clean campsite has terraces, a swimming pool, bar and well-maintained sanitary facilities. It is very steep, with narrow access and difficult manoeuvring for vehicles over 6,5m; some pitches are uneven and may remain unlevel despite using chocks. The road is very noisy at all hours near some pitches. A reported price is 48€ for a camper, 2 adults and a dog without electricity.

Pitches 40 to 48 should be avoided: constant noise from the nearby, very busy road at all hours. The access road is steep. We left after one night instead of three, but the campsite staff were understanding and refunded the two unused nights. Access to the sea through the campsite is dangerous and rocky. The sanitary facilities are adequate.Translating
€48 for a campervan, two adults, a dog and no electricity—it is excessive for a sloping pitch where, even using all the leveling blocks, the van was not level enough to sleep. I should mention that they let us use 1.5 m of the adjacent pitch so the van could be more or less stable. I understand it is high season, but it is not worth that much for what they offer. Such a shame.Translating
Sloping campsite (beware with large motorhomes, as maneuvering is difficult), with “pitches”—if you can call many of them that—on uneven ground that is difficult to level even with chocks. It is the complete opposite of a family campsite. The sanitary facilities are fairly new, but half an hour after cleaning they are already unusable because of the lack of consideration from visitors. Avoid.Translating
Very good place to go with a van. Very clean bathrooms and excellent maintenance. It also has a pool and a brewery where everything was great. Since we did not take electricity, the receptionist offered to charge our phones if necessary. A great gesture.Translating
Yes, it is steep and winding, but the access road is fully concreted and the pitches are large and level. No problem for a van up to 6.5 m.Translating
Very clean, well-maintained campsite. But it is not suitable for vehicles larger than vans. The campsite is very steep; vehicles scrape and spin their wheels. The access roads are narrow. The main lane only allows one vehicle through, with a significant bend and slope. Perfect for champions of hill starts with 3.5 tonnes. Unfortunately, there are no warning signs.Translating
Great campsite with a special bathroom and shower for babies, including a heater. Ideal for staying warm. Very spacious pitches and charming staff.Translating
Very friendly welcome at this small campsite, where all the services are available and excellent. Very clean: sanitary facilities, dishwashing area, emptied and cleaned bins, and maintained green spaces. A big plus is the showers with ceiling heating! Ideal in winter. We recommend it.Translating
Pretty campsite with an extraordinary view from the restaurant terrace. Be careful: the motorhome pitches are at the bottom on a very steep slope. Not recommended for motorhomes over 6.5 m. Very expensive out of season!!!Translating
Rather unfriendly reception, and quite expensive (€36 for a VW van and two people at the end of September 2025).Translating
Positive: clean sanitary facilities. Negative: there is nothing going on in the town, and a tiny beach directly beside the road. The campsite is shaded. We were there in September and the sun was already gone by 5:30 p.m. I find it rather expensive for what is offered. There are nicer places. Nevertheless, we enjoyed a lovely evening with plenty of wine.Translating
Pretty, quite small, with a steep stretch of road! Be sure to park at the top and check the location. No bread service! Nice, spacious sanitary facilities. Although adapted for disabled people, everything is very steep. Not really suitable for dogs despite what is stated, as there are few opportunities to exercise them.Translating
We tried calling several times, but nobody answered the phone. We went to the campsite anyway, only to find that although pitches were available, they only accept motorhomes up to 6 m long. A sign at the entrance would have been very helpful, as with our 7.5 m vehicle we could only get out again after difficult maneuvering.Translating
My camper is 6.40, apparently the max is 6.50, but no problems for space etc. It is a steep access. Friendly & as per other reviews. The only sea views are from the rented bungalows. Sheltered from wind, no midday shade.
Great little campsite with a pleasant pool, 25 minutes’ walk from Mundaka. Very welcoming staff and spotless sanitary facilities. Terraced pitches inaccessible to large motorhomes. Perfectly fine in a van!Translating
Lovely site. Clean facilities. It is hilly and road in it is narrow so a van over 6m would be in trouble. Awkward uphill reverse to get to grey and black water emptying. Good location to explore the area. Nice pool too if you have kids. Dog friendly
Nice site, and the price is reasonable. The sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day. A kitchen and covered seating area are available. Mundaka beach is within walking distance.Translating
I understand it is high season and the campsite is full, but over an entire morning and afternoon it would be appreciated if there were at least one moment when someone answered the phone so callers could find out whether pitches were available before arriving. I called all day and nobody answered.Translating
Welcoming and helpful staff. We stopped here with our roof tent to visit the hermitage of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe. The campsite is 4.5 km from Bermeo, where you can take bus 3517 to the hermitage. The campsite has every service, a shop, pool, and covered kitchen/picnic area. Reasonable prices.Translating
Superb campsite, very well located for visiting the reserve. Very expensive, however, like many campsites in the area. There is a small shop (essential because there is nothing in the village), but it is expensive too, so it is better to stock up beforehand. The restaurant at the entrance is excellent but extremely busy. Clean sanitary facilities and a superb pool with a children’s area. Few shaded pitches.Translating
Friendly and welcoming staff. Very clean sanitary facilities. Restaurant, bar, grocery shop, pool… High price (€40 per night for two people in a van without electricity).Translating
Super lovely little site in beautiful surroundings. Everything you need is available! Few pitches. Tip-top! P.S. Excellent restaurant at the entrance!Translating
Excellent staff and unbeatable views. It is a shame that it is not suitable for large motorhomes; maximum 6 m.
Super campsite, everything in perfect order. The sanitary facilities are excellent. The paths may be a little narrow, and the point for emptying grey water and taking on fresh water is awkwardly positioned, but it works with a small camper! Beautiful surroundings and close to the station, which is convenient for visiting Bilbao.
A pleasant campsite with sufficient, good facilities. We read several reviews that sounded somewhat negative, but we experienced none of that. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful. As for the steep road to the pitches, it is manageable with a 6.5-meter campervan.
Super campsite with beautiful terraced pitches, immaculate sanitary facilities, even a hairdryer, and very peaceful—but we are here in April. It is true that the descent to the pitches is quite steep, but there was no problem with our 6.3 m vehicle. The highlight is the small restaurant at the top: a bar and à la carte restaurant on one side, and a great cafeteria-style section with delicious dishes on the other! View over the estuary!
Expensive campsite, €36 for two people including electricity. Pitches not level despite what the receptionist said, tiny pitches, cramped conditions, no choice of pitch, nearby road noise. Fine in a van, but not under a tent. Sandy ground. Clean sanitary facilities, but not enclosed in a building. Advice: visit before committing!
Do not be influenced by the idyllic elevated view. Small pitches tucked away at the bottom of a hollow. Clean sanitary facilities. Very expensive for the services provided: €36 for two adults in April. Pool closed.
Very nice small site, pitches separated by hedges, green, rather expensive: €50 at the weekend for a van with two adults. We received electricity free of charge because it was the low season.
Beautiful campsite in a lovely location with beautiful views, close to the village and beach. I had read reviews about the campsite ramps leading to the pitches, and they do exist and require driving skill. We came with a 7.4 m motorhome and had no problems, apparently unlike some others. The pitches are very attractive and well cared for, and the bathrooms are clean. The staff are very friendly.
