5 Route de Challes, 4970, Stavelot
Been here?
This campsite is beautifully situated in a meadow-filled valley beside a river. Recent reports mention €35 for one night with electricity for a larger motorhome, and €50 for a large camper with 2 adults and a child. The sanitary facilities and electrical hookups are old, there is no grey waste point, and hot showers cost extra. The setting is peaceful, although nearby roads and a racetrack can be noisy.

Idyllic place whose sanitary facilities have clearly seen a lot. For one night in a pitch with electricity for a larger motorhome, €35 was charged. Reception was unmanned but reachable by phone. Following telephone instructions, I put the fee in the mailbox at reception. The value for money is inappropriate.
Never again! The facilities are older than the owners, who I estimate are in their late seventies. It should not be called a campsite. They charge €50 for one night for a large motorhome with 2 adults and an 11-year-old boy. In the evening there is not even any lighting at the very outdated sanitary facilities. You have to pay extra for a shower: €3 for 6 minutes!!
We stayed here for one night and would not stay again. Very unfriendly owners. There is no grey waste for the motorhome and the electric hook up is very old. All at the cost of €40 for a 7.3 m van!
Very warm welcome and a very quiet, pleasant place. However, the pitch is somewhat expensive and hot shower water costs extra.
Nice little campsite. I was here at the beginning of October with my campervan, a Mercedes Sprinter. It was very quiet at that time. €3 for a hot shower, €15 for one night, one person. Very beautiful surroundings, though the sanitary facilities are indeed old. Still, everything you need for one night before moving on.
We camped here for one night, two people sleeping in our car, and paid 20 euros. The campsite is very beautiful, but the bathrooms were old and somewhat dirty. The shower costs 3 euros for 6 minutes, and the water at the sinks was cold. We're not sure if the shower had hot water. Overall, it was okay for a one-night stay.
Beautiful place. But unfortunately that is all. Electricity is not available everywhere. Sanitary facilities are old, and unfortunately you can hear the racetrack and surrounding roads far too clearly. In summary: the value for money is not right at all. Therefore only 3 stars.
The site is beautiful, in a meadow beside a stream. At the end of September it was sparsely occupied, so there was plenty of space. Very quiet at night. Noisy during the day because of commuter traffic on the bypass. Find a place and wait until someone comes by. Sanitary facilities from the 1950s, housed in an open extension. Cold and drafty in autumn. Hot shower €3. Small camper from €12 per night.
Very friendly welcome from an elderly couple. The price is somewhat high because electricity is charged per day and a hot shower costs €3. No other hot water. Sanitary facilities somewhat outdated but maintained. Quiet location beside the river.
A charming campsite! We booked during the Formula 1 weekend: €300 for 4 nights on a spacious powered pitch beside the Eau Rouge river. About 30 minutes by bicycle from the circuit. The owner-managers are an extremely lovely elderly couple. The sanitary facilities are very outdated but kept clean. Still recommended; we will certainly return for hiking.
Nice little place beside a stream. Sanitary facilities are basically fine, somewhat old but reasonably clean. It is a shame that it is so expensive. €25 for one night with a campervan without electricity is far too much, and then you also have to pay €3 for a hot shower!
Unreasonably expensive, outdated sanitary facilities. We were only allowed to fill 20 liters of water. Not recommended for motorhomes.
