First campsite of the trip; because of the late hour, there was no longer a place with electricity. Quiet campsite. The sanitary facilities seemed sufficient to us, but basic.

The campsite is in a great location if you're planning to hike Trolltunga. However, the facilities could be much better maintained. The showers, bathrooms, and kitchen were not very clean, and the biggest downside was that there was no hot running water in either the kitchen or the toilets.

Great campsite for a one-night stop. €30 for four people with three showers. The showers last six minutes! Unmarked pitches and a view of a beautiful waterfall!

Quiet campsite. Visible and very beautiful waterfall. 400 NOK for one van—two parents, two children, and electricity—for one night. Showers and toilets available, although not very clean. It is more than adequate!

We ended up here by chance because the pitches in Lofthus and Odda were full. 300 NOK for two people and a motorhome is not unusual and was fine for us. It became very full and colourful in the evening, with overnight guests of all kinds. The toilet was still clean. Great hiking trail: cross the bridge, turn left, and follow the blue markings. Friendly lady at reception. The road is annoying during the day.

It was okay for one night. Only cold water for washing dishes. Enough toilets, but only two showers per gender. At least the shower water was very hot, and there was a beautiful view. The value for money did not work for us.

I do not understand some of the reviews here—deducting points because of mowing the lawn, seriously? Of course everything here is a little older, but it is not as overcrowded as those tourist traps. Here you can still find nature.

The view of the waterfall from the gravel motorhome area is breathtaking. However, the current prices are as follows: motorhome 300, electricity 100, shower token 25. There is no hot water in either the washroom or the dishwashing area. Some improvement could still be made here.

Little relaxation for a lot of money, because the lawn was mowed at 6 p.m. instead of in the morning! We spoke to the staff—no understanding; instead, they mowed directly next to us four times where there was no grass left! Toilets and floor dirty. Unfriendly staff. Friendly welcome. You can park on grass or on the gravel above, as it is part of the site. We paid 300 NOK for one night. Showers with coins cost 25 NOK for five minutes. Washing dishes and hands was only possible with cold water.

We were there today; the site is still closed and there is construction equipment in front of it. It does not look as though it will open anytime soon.

We contacted them by phone beforehand because of the reviews and were told clearly in English that they would open for the season from next week, June 8 or 9.

Bad—has the character of a roadside rest area, hilly/farmland terrain, only cold water. Located by the road, but the only affordable place in the area. 300 NOK per night and camper.

As has already been written several times, not a nice place; everything is very muddy. Nobody seems to stay here longer than one night. Showers and washroom are very basic, but clean. Sufficient hot water is available. All the other nearby places cost three times as much, so if you only need a stopover and a shower, it is okay.

Reception opens at 5 p.m. The left-hand sunny area is only for those using electricity. We had to move. One section is beside the road. Only cold water for washing and washing dishes.

We were only there to shower. If you are not a visitor, one coin costs 50 NOK for six minutes—twice as expensive as for campers. Since we found nothing else nearby, we had to do it. Toilet and shower rooms are fine. It could be worse. The campsite itself is not particularly attractive but is okay.

Site directly beside the main road, with the wonderful constant soundtrack of lorries—day and night. Suitable for exhausted campers who sleep deeply.

We stayed here for one night because it was the best alternative to the overpriced places in Odda before climbing Trolltunga the next day. The sanitary facilities were perfectly adequate and clean. The only thing that bothered us was that there are no hiking trails accessible from here, so if you are travelling with a dog, there is not much room to move around.

We paid 350 NOK for one night including showers (six minutes), without electricity. The meadow to the left of the sanitary building is the electricity area. Great starting point for Trolltunga, also in terms of price. The sanitary facilities were quite basic. The staff make an effort to keep them clean, but there is little they can do about people who leave the toilet dirty. Showers a little mouldy. Fine for one night.

Very good location and a wonderful site, BUT the sanitary building… Like in the military, just not as clean. Wash troughs and sink have only cold water. If you can write your name on the shower walls with your fingers, it is simply disgustingly dirty and mouldy, not merely “dated.” Disgusting. With little effort and money, this could be a fantastic campsite. Such a shame.
