Been here?
A viewpoint and picnic area on the Scottish border with picnic tables, information boards, hill and mountain views, and plenty of parking. The English side of the road is recommended for the best views. Nights can be silent, but noise from traffic, stopping vehicles, shouting, loud music and a fast food generator can begin from 7:30.

If you are early bird, that is perfect spot, silence during the night, nice views in the morning. If you are not, then expect a lot of noise from 7:30 ... people stopping, shouting, loud music, fast food came at 8 and started electro generator poluting both parking lots with continuous noise. And finally bagpipper started his show :-D Not so nice morning.
Breathtaking panorama! I spent one night here completely alone. Great because there was absolutely no wind.Translating
We stopped off here after a concert in Edinburgh, super peaceful.
Description spot on. Thank you.
Lovely place to spend a night with magnificent scenery (it is better to park on the side with the English flag because the view is nicer). However, it is quite noisy due to trucks passing during the night.Translating
Lovelyyyyy sunset! Not that’s noisy overnight
Beautiful panoramic view. Very exposed to the wind...Translating
Great views Busy spot Road noise
Sleeping at the border is fun, especially since the place is very nice, perfect for souvenir photos, and quiet at night. Park on the right-hand side when heading up toward Scotland, as indicated very clearly above.Translating
A magnificent view. We wanted to stay overnight, but the wind put us off.Translating
Rooftop tent camper: It was a very quiet Friday night, couple of vans stayed next to me but that’s all. There were occasional people pulling in through the night so if your a light sleeper then it may not be for you. But the walks and sights here are a must. It’s incredibly picturesque, so it’s worth a stop for the photos alone even if you aren’t planning to sleep overnight. No facilities, so if your rooftop tenting, stay on the England > Scotland side and there are some high bushes you can be discreet with your business in…just make sure to clean up to keep this place amazing.
