1000 Route de Roquefort, 40120, Cachen
Been here?
Three van and camper pitches sit behind the property at the forest edge, opposite the sheep pen, with sunsets over the trees and field. The site is peaceful and welcoming, surrounded by goats, sheep and other semi-free animals, although flies were troublesome during one early-May stay. Heavy vehicles cannot reach the two rear places, and there is no emptying on site; the nearest area is 10 minutes away in Roquefort. A cold-water sink, dry toilets, terrace, games, converted barn and optional pool, bathroom, electricity, water, laundry, dryer and spa services are available at the listed prices.

A lovely, cozy little place where you wake up in the morning to all the animal sounds. Friendly welcome. If you have dogs, you can take a beautiful walk in the woods behind the property. You can sometimes hear some road noise, indeed, but we did not find it disturbing. Highly recommended, especially for travelers passing through.
This is a very pleasant place, cozy among the animals. You can hear the road, but it is not busy. Very friendly lady and a beautiful garden. We will definitely come back.
We slept in this magnificent place with our children aged 10 and 14. It is a real little corner of paradise in nature, surrounded by lots of animals. The children went pony riding in the woods and loved feeding the animals, while we enjoyed the pool. The owner is truly adorable. I recommend this place for a wonderful time in nature.
Many thanks for the owner's warm and friendly welcome, which immediately made us feel at ease. A beautiful, peaceful place among animals and forests, with a pool and a barn with a festive atmosphere where you can socialize if you wish. My van was parked alone in peace. I highly recommend this place.
A superb welcome at this pitch! A quiet and unusual place, just the way we like them. Access to the pool (€5) is much appreciated at this time of year.
Hardly a level place to be found either above or below. But a breathtaking rocky landscape.
Good parking with some shade. For a car and roof tent, €1 per hour. You can snorkel well in the coves or walk along the coast. Beware: we encountered many mauve stinger jellyfish, but it was fine with a wetsuit.
