This is a free, convenient parking spot beside Mallaig harbour and the island ferry, with port views and nearby shops and a market. It suits campervans but is not suitable for large vans or motorhomes, and it can become busy. Toilets and showers are about 5 minutes away across the harbour, while the 24-hour WC costs 50 cts.

Car parking; not suitable for a campervan!
very satisfied from this spot next to the port and quite. toilets and showers 5 min from the spot. WC open 24h (50 cts). we were lucky to get the last spot. it can get quite busy.
So convenient and free! Nice view of the port as well.
The toilets and showers are across the harbor in the West Bay Parking, which is paid. We left that parking area around 6p when the town was winding down and made our way here to sleep for the night - no issues and very quiet.
