Unnamed Road, 45110, Sigloy
Been here?
A wild riverside spot beside the Loire, reached by a small, sometimes bumpy and uneven track. It is very quiet in nature, with walking paths and views of birds, though the ground can be soft, grassy and insect-filled, with little shade. Follow the signs for the Loire ferrymen and then the canoe parking; the canoe activity starts at 9h.

Very beautiful place by the Loire in the middle of nature, with views of the birds. We spent the night in a VW campervan. Follow the signs for the canoe parking area. Canoeing starts at 9 a.m.
This is the canoe parking area. At the end of April, the grass was high and the ground soft and uneven, with quite a few insects. No beach when the Loire is high; you have to arrive by following the signs for the Loire ferrymen and then the canoe signs.
Very quiet. It is great if you have a large dog, with plenty of possible walking routes. Access is fairly easy if you are careful, via a small road. For those seeking peace and solitude, it is perfect, at least in April.
Lovely, very quiet place. I was alone on a Wednesday. Sunrise over the Loire directly in front. There are gnats once night falls, but not too many mosquitoes. I recommend it!
Very easy to access, a very quiet night, surrounded by nature. However, the proximity of the water and tall grass means there are lots of flying insects during very hot weather. Little shade during the day.
