Woodland parking, overnight ban

just put up signs today, parking is £4 a day, no overnight anymore. A shame because this is a nice spot

Visited through the day. Beware...big potholes upon entry. Nice walks in the woodland. We decided not to stay the night as the place seemed a bit hemmed in if any other campers came by.

Lovely secluded spot. Some road noise and the car park is sloped. 1 bar of signal on EE none with the blinds closed

Nice enough park up, had a very quiet peaceful night here with a walk for the dogs in the morning. Car park wasn’t entirely level but found a flattish spot and used one ramp to prop up a back wheel, there was also poor phone signal on EE so can’t go 5* but would visit again if in the area.

Small place. Not flat everywhere. Lots of (too much) dog mess. Probably frequently used by dog walkers without poop bags. Today is a rainy day. We are alone. It is probably not always like this. Very weak internet. No phone signal.

Really quiet—we saw a deer and other wildlife. Horse riders and dog walkers came in the morning, but there were no issues.

Parked here for 1 night, 1 other van, beautiful walks through the woods, very clean, just watch the potholes on the way in! Dog walkers in the morning, very quiet apart from the odd loud sheep over the road Would definitely stay here again

Parking possible for several motorhomes at the entrance to the woods. The parking area is slightly sloped, with one or two almost level spaces on the right when entering the car park; we did not use levelling blocks. Quiet place, with only the sound of wind in the trees, sheep and a few cars. Starting point for walks in the woods.

Ellington Firth Forest is the parking with a flattish area just off the main road. Reasonably quiet but still some road noise. Dog walkers arrived early morning and were really pleasant. Dog walks were a bit muddy but to be expected as it is the UK after all.

Beautiful hiking parking area on a quiet road, surrounded by trees but overlooking a sheep pasture. Very idyllic. No water or waste facilities. Space for five or six campers. We had a very peaceful night.

Quiet spot. But took 3 attempts to find somewhere close to level. Stay towards the right as you go in. Some nice walks. No services. Absolutely no signal on phones. Good TV signal.

A lovely quiet area. Felt very safe. Lovely woodland walk. Brymor icecream just down the road! Would definitely stay again -quite level. Not much road noise.

Excellent... We were completely alone that evening... It was worth the extra kilometers.

Brilliant and quite off the road and great if your with dogs another couple was there gave my some chocolates and me milk for tea wonderful place

No internet signal very quiet (apart from the sheep!) another campervan was there in the evening, but there was room for everyone.
