Salt marsh parking, mosquitoes

Very quiet spot but an enormous number of mosquitoes. The toilets, however, are quite far from the very last parking area.

Very good location, close to the beach, clean toilets 300 m away with toilet paper. There are mosquitoes, of course, but using a good repellent is enough. In the middle of July, there were only two vans.

May 14, 2026. Large, relatively flat and discreet grassy parking area. No disturbance, very peaceful night. Adjacent road not used at night. Height barrier at 2.10 m. Ideal for one night. Very clean. Thanks to the municipality for allowing us to camp here for free.

Parking opposite a campsite, with toilets nearby and a pétanque court; quite a lot of traffic. We were woken by young people passing by and knocking on the van.

Very quiet spot at night. We were the only van. Access to the beach is across the road between VVF and the campsite. Toilets are 300 m away between “L'île aux pirates” and the pétanque courts.

Shade in some areas and fairly level. Quiet night, with no mosquitoes when we visited. The village is accessible by a walk. Continuous traffic from runners and walkers.

Nice place to spend the evening and night. Watch out for mosquitoes.

Large parking area with little shade but picnic tables. Quiet between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Pretty spot, the sea 200 m away and public toilets 300 m away. On the other hand, it is mosquito territory; we could not stay to sleep.

The place is nice, seems fairly quiet and close to the beach. However, we had to flee because of an invasion of mosquitoes.

Very quiet parking at night (mid-May). Bin at the entrance. A few walkers in the late morning because of a nearby fitness trail!

Lots of people coming and going at night, there are no public toilets or at least we didn’t see them and we did look around, close to street lights and a road with a lot of traffic. Maybe it’s nice for a weekday in low season but today (11/05/24) we had to leave
