Blue Anchor Bay Road, Minehead
Been here?
This is free parking beside Blue Anchor Bay, either roadside by the sea or in marked bays opposite. The marked bays have no-overnight signs, while the roadside spaces have no stated signs or restrictions. A 24hr toilet is nearby and donations are requested; the water there is drinking water, but there is no outside tap. A steam railway station, cafes, a shop and an indoor pool are close by.

Free parking along the road or in parking bays. Small, sleepy village in the bay, with few tourists in mid-July, two nice cafés, and a steam train station.
As stated, no height restrictions and plenty of space. Toilets are well kept and having spoken to the cleaners the water is all drinking water in them (no outside tap for filling carriers though). I parked in diagonal bays (6 mtrs) during the day opposite beach and moved onto the road alongside beach overnight which has no restrictions but no sign of enforcement while I was there. Lovely spot
Stopped for lunch and a walk along the coast, free parking but overnighting not allowed. Free 24hrs toilet nearby. Good view out to sea but probably quite exposed during bad weather. Strong signal on Vodafone and Sky Mobile.
