Riverside village area, no bathrooms

Clean and quiet area despite the nearby road. The price on the site is not up to date; we paid €14.96. However, there is no shade. Pitches on sand with grass beside them, and pitches entirely on grass.

Very quiet at this time of year, with only two motorhomes. The nearby road is a little noisy. Service area in excellent condition.

Very pleasant area. Do not leave without visiting the baker: excellent traditional bread.

Excellent peace and rest, very well maintained. Access to the village and château is magnificent. I recommend it.

Very attractive, well-equipped area, five minutes’ walk from the centre. The nearby road can sometimes be noisy, but it is not busy at the moment. A village worth visiting! The service point is outside the area.

€14.60, more expensive than some campsites without amenities such as showers, toilets, washing-up sinks, etc.

Lovely open spot on the river. Mostly firm grass, with some hard standing. Grass pitches are not rigidly marked which allows some flexibility, with courtesy to neighbours. Very pretty little town too, with beautiful buildings. An excellent spot.

Major drawback: we are paying only for the scenery and electricity. Be aware that emptying and filling facilities are outside. So it is too expensive for electricity alone. Many Ccpark sites cost less and include all services on site. And there are no sanitary facilities! The setting is magnificent, the ground is beautiful and flat, and there are playgrounds five minutes’ walk away. The town is also five minutes away and magnificent.

Lovely location along the river, very pleasant. It will be nicely shaded once the trees have grown. Close to shops and the château!

Very spacious motorhome area with a magnificent château to visit in a charming village. There is a small restaurant nearby, but personally we were not received very well.

Easy to access and quiet (yes, there is a road nearby, but it is not bothersome; there is little or no traffic at night). As of 18 July 2025: only six motorhomes, so there is plenty of space. Château nearby, accessible on foot, and numerous restaurants. The only minor drawback is little or no shade.

Large spaces, half gravel and half grass, with electricity at every pitch. Services are outside the area. Minor drawback: proximity to a fairly busy road.

Very peaceful area in a green setting beside the Dronne (you can go canoeing), close to the château. Hopefully the planted trees will grow soon to provide more shade. No night lighting, which I appreciate. There is a small riverside hut called “Les pieds dans l’eau” at the entrance, open from Wednesday evening to Sunday.

Pretty village to wander around, with a château to visit, and ideal for Tèrra Aventura enthusiasts.

Camping-Car Park area, with the village right next door. No shops, but a very good bakery. Quiet. The disposal point is before entering the area.

A very quiet night. You can visit the château for €9, and there are disposal, water and electricity services.

This motorhome area offers a peaceful environment right next to the village and its château. The pitches are spacious, with all services and electricity included in the price. You can choose between gravel and grass. Bakery nearby. Crêperie/pizzeria at the entrance to the area. There are also opportunities for beautiful walks.

Very good location! Close to the river and the adorable small town. A little different is that the emptying of the grey and black water is right outside the campsite as well as filling fresh water. Also many waist containers there. Quiet and calm.

Beautiful, very large area with electricity, but no water point or disposal facilities on site. A rip-off, because you only discover this absence after paying.

We arrived late at night; the place is well signposted. Perfect for long vehicles with a trailer. Be careful not to put your wheels on the grass while manoeuvring. Services were fine. Very quiet.

Great park-up beside the river. Lovely village to explore. The only negative was road noise.

Nice service area! Very few people at this time of year, but difficult to find at night—we ended up in the centre, where few roads are suitable for motorhomes.

Pretty village, but we did not stay. No grocery shop or bakery, and no businesses apart from a tobacconist and two cafés.

Too expensive for us, so we went elsewhere. It was much better before, when there were no bars across all the spaces and there was more freedom. I will not return to Bourdeilles, although I have fond memories of how it used to be.

Very quiet area close to the village and château. The bakery had no bread left at 12:30, and thanks to the tobacconist for offering cash withdrawals, as not all shops accept cards. I recommend the crêperie/pizzeria next to the Camping-Car Park area.

Flat ground, no shade. Good TV reception and 4G. Electricity at every pitch. Very noisy from 6 a.m.: many lorries on the departmental road. The disposal and filling station is outside, in the car park! Uninteresting area; you might as well sleep in the free parking area at the entrance, which is just as good.

Very well located for visiting the small town. Spacious pitches. The access terminal was temperamental, but the problem was quickly resolved by phone. Minor drawback: you can hear the road behind the river a little.
