Hill clearing, impassable after rain

Can’t get there. Water everywhere now :(

Very good place; the only problem is the access road, which was rather complicated, especially because of the rain. That's why we stopped here and didn't continue. It is a very calm and peaceful place and must be very beautiful in good weather. We were afraid of the dogs in the evening, but they were friendly. There is a small ruin at the top of the road that could make for a little urban exploration.

Impassable today, January 26, because the potholes are full of water and the tires spin on the rest of the road. We preferred to turn around with our Sprinter.

The road is impassable for normal motorhomes. There were large potholes filled with water whose depth could not be judged. A Jeep drove through ahead of us and sank very deeply.

Contrary to the comments, the road is already very muddy and damaged. At times there are sections where our Ducato nearly got stuck. With proper all-terrain tyres or a 4x4 it is easy; otherwise it is rather nerve-racking.

Bumpy but easily accessible. Not suitable for low motorhomes or long overhangs. It is manageable even after rain with a 2WD. Bring dog food! I believe the dogs survive only thanks to travelling visitors!

Great place. The dog usually welcomes new guests shortly after they leave the paved road and enter the dirt track. The route is manageable. After the storm, the road is reasonably drivable.

About the dog Diana For those stopping by this spot: we met the well-known stray dog Diana We bought her a Scalibor collar, please don’t remove it! It protects her for one year against leishmaniasis, a deadly disease for dogs that is very common in Sicily. She only asks for some cuddles, a bit of water and some food. Take care of her if you meet her, she’s such a sweetheart <3

Very beautiful place in the middle of nature, near the sea, so you can also go swimming. The road is unpaved and a little long but manageable; be careful in case of rain. The dog that roams around the area is extremely sweet and wants lots of petting!

a challenging road but doable with a camperbus, great views but not fully flat

A great starting point for a hike to Punta Bianca. An incredibly lovable stray dog also lives here, delighted by every caress or simply a little company. Feel free to bring her some food or refill her water bowl. She got along very well with our female dog. Overnight stays are possible without any problems!

The spot is great! Easy to access even with a large motorhome, magnificent view—it's fantastic! The dog who lives here alone is called Luna. She isn't microchipped, is healthy (veterinary check completed), gentle and kind, and handles the presence of your dog perfectly, even if yours is rather reactive. She clearly wants to leave with a motorhome-traveling family.
