Been here?
A very large family campsite with pitches by the sea, its own beach, pools, activities, restaurants, a minimarket and children’s facilities. Recent comments report generally pleasant staff and mostly good sanitary facilities, but also crowding, mowing noise and narrow access roads. Prices vary widely, including 104€ for 2 nights for 2 people before high season and 250€ for 2 people in a van for 3 nights.

Huge family campsite with its own beach. The sanitary facilities are relatively new but unfortunately not really clean. Prices at the campsite, including the minimarket and ice-cream stands, are very high. We also found €250 for two people in a van for three nights in the cheapest pitch category rather steep.
Three and a half stars for this site. Sanitary facilities okay, but definitely insufficient in high season. Constant mowing or other noise on the site. The Loop restaurant on the site was disappointing! Pool loungers cost €10 and beach loungers €15. Supermarket very expensive; one mozzarella costs nearly €4. €31 for two people and a motorhome at Comfort Mare was very good. Novigrad and Umag are easy to reach by bicycle.
Very beautiful site, immaculate sanitary facilities, pleasant staff—nothing to complain about. €104 for two nights for two people just before high season.
The sanitary facilities were always clean, the pizza in the restaurant was delicious and still hot as takeaway. The grounds are well maintained and inviting. The only issue is the rather narrow access to the pitches, but it is manageable. We would not recommend doing laundry: the clothes smelled of smoke after washing and were still wet after the dryer, all for €16.
A mixed experience: inexpensive, orderly, and quiet pitches in the low season, but the site is too large. Weak points: the market is far away and poorly stocked, and the bathrooms are mediocre. An excellent solution for one night while passing through if you seek peace outside the season, despite the dispersal typical of Croatia’s new mega-resorts. A good compromise for a short stop without high expectations.
Sanitary facilities clean and well maintained. Pool area and seawater pool on the beach. Various entertainment options, kids’ club, beach bar, very good restaurant, minimarket. Connection to the city. The access to our pitch was very narrow; the 6.40 m camper van plus bike rack could not have been any wider. We paid €173 for three nights in the first row for one camper, two adults, and a dog.
Very narrow access roads to the pitches. The first assigned pitch would not have been possible without scratching the hedges. The grass is mowed during the midday quiet period. The ice-cream stand at the beach is closed all day. The only beach bar closes at 8 p.m. Access to the sea is not attractive. There are huge rocks and concrete blocks in the water, posing a risk of injury. A receptionist was present upon arrival.
Very nice campsite. Friendly staff and everything looks well cared for. The pitches are spacious and access to the sea is excellent. Tip: take the little train to the center of Novigrad. We will definitely return in the future.
Pitch size okay, decent and friendly service. We were surprised by the charge for electric scooters?! Negative points: the sanitary facilities by the beach need renovation, and the narrow streets require the bushes and trees to be trimmed.
We spontaneously drove to the campsite because our love of camping began here a few years ago. At reception we received the first unfriendly answer when asking why booking online was much cheaper than on site. The sanitary facilities in the rear area were not only in need of renovation, they were also very dirty. Unfortunately too expensive for what is offered. What a shame.
Cons: overcrowded in every respect—showers, beach, and bar; extremely loud children’s entertainment at the main beach until 10 p.m.; too few toilets and showers for the size of the site; extremely expensive for the area. Pros: a wide range of services, including rentals and food, and a good location.
One of the few sites I unfortunately cannot recommend. Many pitches are extremely sloping. The roads are narrow, so it is difficult to get around corners with a motorhome over 7 m. The number of sanitary facilities is completely inadequate for the size of the site. Long waits for toilets and showers, which are then cold. The pool was dirty. Almost €100 per night for a family with a child.
We spent a wonderful Easter 2025 here. We arrived on April 18, 2025, Good Friday, when the campsite opened before the season, and it was almost empty, which was great. It will probably be busier in season, but everyone has to choose the date that suits them. Everything was absolutely fine, cleanliness was excellent, the restaurant was okay, and the staff were great. Thank you for a beautiful stay.
We spent a week with caravan (Pitch Superior Mare - big, close to the sea) Clean toilets. Nice restaurant, swimming pool (one with salt sea water), shop, children playground. Many atractions and entertainment. Too little toilets and bathrooms and they were overcrowded mamy times. We generally recommend.
Nice site. The pitches are very close together and some are quite small. Clean sanitary facilities. The supermarket has the essentials but is rather expensive. A small train goes into town in the evening.
Extremely large and busy campsite. We were given a tiny, very sloping pitch. After complaining, we fortunately got a better pitch, after one sleepless night and without compensation. The pool was completely empty one day. There are far too few showers and washing machines; there is almost always a queue. Cars are everywhere because they must be parked next to the caravan. Full, busy, and noisy.
A resort with all its services. Be aware that prices change even during high season. The pool is okay, facilities are clean, and the beach is not far away. A small train goes to Novigrad, but I would recommend taking bicycles and exploring the many cycling opportunities in the area.
