21700, Arcenant
Been here?
This quiet, almost flat spot lies among vineyards above Arcenant, with an excellent 360-degree view over the vines and countryside. Up to two vans can fit on the clean grassy area. The access road is narrow, bumpy and gravelled, so it should be driven very slowly. Vineyard workers may arrive in the morning, while nights are dark and very quiet.

Fantastic view, very, very quiet! The road straight up through Arsenant (Rue du Four Amont) is recommended. Under no circumstances take the road up to Ancenant at the back right, as recommended in one of the posts here! We got a flat tyre there last night as a present! The road is now virtually paved all the way to the end! But otherwise fantastic! We slept under the open sky! Amazing!
Quiet location in the middle of the vineyards. The place is immaculate, and the 360-degree view over the vineyards and nature is magnificent.
Magnifcient location! The road is a bit bumpy but it is manageable and you can explore all the vineyards. Very quiet at night. In the morning some people came to work at vineyards but no one had any problems with us being there.
Beautiful place! In the middle of the vineyards, wonderfully peaceful. View of Arcenant, and you can hear the village bells. Highly recommended!
Perfect for spending a night in the vineyards, with the added bonus of a magnificent view. The access road is manageable by van or campervan at reduced speed.
Beautiful place between nature and vineyards. Lots of birds and beautiful flowers and insects. Wonderful view. Slightly sloping. The road there is somewhat narrow, but easy enough to drive with a campervan. Wonderfully quiet and dark at night. Keep it tidy so this place can continue to exist.
The view must be earned, and to enjoy it you need to drive very slowly along this stony track. We were able to park two vans on a fairly flat, very clean grassy area. Very peaceful place.
The view is magnificent in the morning, very easy to access and level. I spent the night there; no traffic and very peaceful.
Pretty view, very quiet, recommended! Drive from Arcenant along the D25 to the northwest and then turn east. There is only one genuinely bad section on this route. Google Maps directed us via Meuilley instead, which is a badly eroded, rough and partly steep gravel road, barely manageable for our old bus.
