A small parking area directly by a sandy beach on Lake Raanujärvi. Swimming is easy, with a gentle entry, and there is a toilet hut. The nearby road has very little traffic, although the access road from Sweden is about 50 km of very bumpy road. Overnight stays are possible.

Small but lovely! Very small place right on the beach—the locals seem to like celebrating here and making campfires. Today we are alone, listening to the waves. A car passes occasionally, but rather rarely. The road from Sweden to here (about 50 km) is very bumpy! Beware—lots of mosquitoes!!!Translating
Nice beach and s large parking lot by the beach. Worth staying for a break or overnight.
