Sea-view parking, morning traffic

A tarmac parking area beside the main road with sea views, though there is no access to the shore. It has a picnic bench and rubbish bin, and is about 5 minutes from Mali Ston, making it useful for the Mljet ferry. The spot is quiet from around 22:00, but traffic becomes fast and noticeable from about 06:30.

We arrived at 7 p.m., and only a few cars were still passing by. From around 10 p.m. it was quiet. We slept very well, but anyone who wants to sleep late should not stay here overnight. From 6:30 a.m., cars race through here.
During a very intense thunderstorm, we were lucky to take refuge in this parking lot because we could not find a place at a campsite. Two other motorhomes were there, which reassured us. A quiet night apart from the torrential rain, but early in the morning, before we left, a Croatian indulged in his national sport: honking loudly. Later on the road, we passed the police heading toward the parking lot.
Parking lot near to the quiet road. no problem with sleeping here. Car traffic started about 6 am and still was not so busy so you can sleep well even longer. Recommend especially when Ston park is closed.
Beautiful views from this spot. The bays are large enough for my 7-meter van.
