Parking for visiting the castle of Verteuil-sur-Charente, with a beautiful castle view and a picnic table and bench. Large motorhomes should use the other referenced car parks. The grassy area may be preferable to the sloping gravel by the church, and no overnight prohibition sign was reported. The road is busy around 20:00.

The area was full. A local resident advised us to park here on the grass rather than on the sloping gravel in front of the church. There was no sign prohibiting overnight stays. A picnic table and a bench. Very beautiful view of the castle. Downside: the road is busy at 8 p.m. To be continued. In any case, thank you to the municipality. A charming little village.
Upon arriving in the municipality, I briefly inspected the motorhome area: several vehicles were there, including one (76) looking for shade and therefore parked completely crooked. A few cars also occupied the remaining spaces. I therefore had two options: Do the policing or use this parking area. I chose to park here. Kenavo.
