This roadside parking area is 150 meters from a motorhome parking space and only a few minutes from Leipzig city center. It is a useful alternative when the nearby space is full, with room for at least 2 RVs, although the surface is slightly inclined. The area is generally quiet, despite the nearby train station. Fresh water and disposal can be accessed for a small fee at the adjacent space.

After the neighboring pitch was full, this was a cheap and equivalent alternative. We spent a quiet night.
A very pleasant pitch beside the road. Emptying and refilling with fresh water at the neighboring service point is possible through the friendly operator for a small fee.
Convenient parking for visiting the city and spending the night. A little sloped but fairly quiet.
Just stayed a few hours (during the day) to visit local Christmas Market. Found parking spot easily, very convenient for visiting city center.
Unfortunately the steltzplaz is quite small. So we parked in the side of the road. It’s fine and you kan still go to the nearby steltzplatz and pay for service. It’s close to the city Center and a good alternative when the steltzplatz is occupied.
