Roadside picnic, overnight prohibited

A very beautiful place. The approach is difficult but manageable. We spent the night here. The next morning, the park ranger came and told us that we had to leave because staying here is not permitted.

A beautiful place! We drove down to the water (without 4x4) and spent a quiet night there. At night, we heard only ducks quacking and other animal sounds. A few meters farther on, insects (grasshoppers?) drove us away; millions of them were sitting in the grass.

We spent two very peaceful nights there. The site is directly beside the road. During the day, a car passes every 10 minutes. At night it is completely quiet. We saw no stray dogs, but many large water birds! Wonderful sunrise. No shade, but there is some wind and you can leave the vehicle open. Safe place, and nobody is disturbed. Little litter.

Beautifull lake view! The spot is next to the road, but with 4x4 is possible to get closer to the lake. Lots of birds. Few stray dogs. We spent a very quiet night there after passing the bulgarian border. Very good spot for sunrise. No sanitary facilities. Good 4G. Good with dogs.

Very nice place. However, with our 4x4 we parked closer to the water because the lake was at a low level when we visited. We had the flamingos right in front of us!

Lovely spot by the lake, close to a main road with little traffic. Ideal for one night before or after Bulgaria.
