Scenic roadside parking, windy nights

Beautiful spot, a little windy at night.

Great view, a quiet and very windy night. Although it is beside the road, there is plenty of space to park inside. Top!

We stopped for the night. Great place, quiet and with a decent view, even on rainy days like the ones we experienced.

Small gravel parking area, relatively level; also suitable for larger motorhomes. No services. Fantastic view.

Best stop of our trip: both the access road and the place itself feel timeless. Incredible for sleeping, highly recommended!

Beautiful clearing beside the road, extremely quiet.

I spent a peaceful night here and was pleasantly surprised to be able to see Rocca di Calascio in the distance.

Dreamlike, peaceful, great view, reception... at the moment everything up top is white = doubly recommended. The approach from the east (Penne) is more challenging because it is steeper, narrow, and icy. From the west it is very easy.

We stayed here for two days. About 3.5 km from Castel del Monte. A trip there is very worthwhile. At weekends there are many motorcyclists and cars during the day, but on Monday there is very little traffic. Wonderful peace at night, with no vehicles. We felt safe. Great view.

Amazing spot, brilliant view, quiet road (only one car between arriving at 6pm and leaving at 9am). Nice and flat. We saw a wild boar on the hill. Loved it!

Fantastic clearing to spend a night! Very quiet and no traffic at night. No services, but the dawn light makes up for everything! There are no bins, so take your rubbish home!
