Easy-to-access spot, level, with room for several vans and no height limit. Very nice view of the mountains with sunset, cool, and no mosquitoes.
Thank you for sharing this. Ideal during a heatwave: at 1,600 m altitude, it was 18 degrees in the morning, making the nights very pleasant. The dogs bark at random intervals. Two or three cars during the day and a few walkers. The horses left for summer pasture on June 20, so there was a lovely little festival in the village of Eyne. Water refill and bins are available in this beautiful little village.
Magnificent spot. Extremely quiet. The gentle melancholy of the horses, a breathtaking view at sunset and upon waking... Perfect for one night. No facilities, so be sure to leave the place clean!
Superb location Wonderful view of the Pyrenees Quiet Very clean In the heart of nature
Easy access. Good panoramic view, quiet for spending the night but without any services. Start of a beautiful and viable snowy route, about 6 km long. Along the way you will find a place where you can rent sleds, snowshoes, etc. We went when everything was covered in snow, but the route was manageable with care.
Large, level area. Panoramic view. Quiet. Several other vehicles, without disturbing one another.
Magnificent view of the Pyrenees! We slept peacefully surrounded by cows, horses and sled dogs. Not a sound at night. We moved a little farther along the path so as not to disturb visitors to the bird observatory; it was perfect!
Good spot for one night. Do not hesitate to go 50 m farther beyond the parking area. Small stream and beautiful view.
Very beautiful place without facilities, but with a lovely panorama. Windy, but manageable. Accessible for motorhomes.
A somewhat windy spot, but with a 360-degree view.
Perfectly quiet, with lots of animals around.
Accessible to all vehicles. Lovely view. A little noisy in the morning, with a few vehicles passing along the path. Mountain-bike trail 15 markings on the path.
Very beautiful place at the foot of one of the two observatories monitoring migrations in the Pyrenees, with a nice exchange with the ornithologists. Large gravel area; use the back of the parking lot to leave space for observatory visitors. We heard the sled dogs barking in the distance, rarely and not disturbing at all. Very quiet night and beautiful panorama. Please leave this place clean.
Unpleasant spot Not level, track in poor condition Noisy, with a dog kennel next door Gendarmerie check: they asked us to move because the site is going to be prohibited.
Poorly located, too close to a very noisy and busy road. The site is next to a dog kennel whose dogs howl in the middle of the night. We slept there several nights and each time were disturbed by partygoers playing boom-boom music until 3 a.m. Honestly, avoid it, especially since the parking area is beneath a power line.
Good place to spend the night, quiet and with good views. Let’s respect the surroundings and the neighbors!
