Renchallee 6, 77704, Oberkirch
Been here?
A flat camper area near the center of Oberkirch, with shops, restaurants, vineyards, orchards and walks along the Rench nearby. Pitches are on grass and gravel, but recent reports describe narrow spaces and little shade, behind an industrial area. Water costs €1 for 3 minutes and has low pressure, while disposal is across the road by the sports field. The current tourist tax is €2.50 per person.

The pitches are very tight, with almost no shade, behind an industrial area. The pitch price itself is okay, but €2.50 tourist tax per person is outrageous. We will not come again.Translating
Nothing to complain about for us. Very good value. Clean, quiet and all services working. Wonderful bike ride up amongst the vineyards and cherry orchards. Can't work out why no-one is picking the lovely ripe cherries!Translating
Unfortunately, it is becoming excessive that certain campers spread out so much and reserve pitches! It is a shame; previously this was a highly recommended place.Translating
Service point: water runs for only 3 minutes for €1, with very low pressure. With a water filter, you need at least €6–7 to draw 100 liters. Only €1 coins, just like for electricity.Translating
A beautiful, very quiet motorhome pitch. Ten minutes' walk to Rewe, and a restaurant is very close. You can enjoy lovely walks along the Rench. On May 12, the site is closed from 7:30 a.m. for grounds maintenance.Translating
We stayed overnight in the large parking area in front of the sports field. It was no problem for one night, and there were other motorhomes there too.Translating
A beautiful, quiet place. To dispose of waste and fill up with water, you have to leave the site and drive to the opposite road leading to the sports field. At the sports field itself, you can eat well at the Platzhirsch restaurant just around the corner.Translating
I think the pitch is good. It is very quiet at night and level. We will certainly return when the weather is better.Translating
shame there's no services here but its great for an overnight stay. €10 plus €2 per person tourist tax. ticket valid for 24 hours from arrival. grass pitches. i picked up some free WIFI but im not sure if its provided or I just picked up from somewhere locally. Translating
Quiet area, very well located, just a short walk from the town center.Translating
Decent stopping area, with very good wastewater disposal, but the water cost is ridiculous: for one euro I got about 10–12 liters. Benefit of the doubt: perhaps the system was not working properly.Translating
We only took water. Reality is that you get more or less 40 liter for 1 euro. Translating
Spacious, peaceful area. Small drawback: the waste-disposal facilities are elsewhere, about 100 meters away... Take care of that before settling in.Translating
We stayed there just for a lunchtime stop. Several spaces available. Fairly flat on gravel.Translating
Centrally located. We stayed only one night while passing through. No problems—the power supply worked without any issues.Translating
We parked in the large parking area in front of the motorhome site, without a power connection and free of charge. In the evening and morning, we listened to the birds singing. Unfortunately, during the night a vehicle with its engine running, probably a cooling unit, was there and disturbed the peace.Translating
A great starting point for visiting Oberkirch, the castle, and going hiking. Price is okay. They could have done without the portable toilet; if you build something, make it decent. Otherwise, quite okay here. At night, some fellow campers have no respect and talk loudly at 2 a.m.Translating
We stayed one night: €1 per kilowatt-hour for electricity, €10 for the site plus €6 tourist tax. We could dispose of rubbish, refill water, and empty waste tanks. It was a very quiet place.Translating
The place is quiet and pleasant. Close to the town center for walking or cycling. €10 per night plus €2 tourist tax per person. All services work.Translating
The site is large enough that there should always be a free space. €10 per day and €2 tourist tax per person are reasonable. Electricity costs €1 per kWh. The town is within walking distance and really picturesque, with enough places to eat. The four-star rating refers to a stopover; for a longer stay, the town has too little to offer.Translating
Beautiful site with working Wi-Fi, not just promised. Great for walks and bike rides along the Rench, or for visiting the picturesque old town full of postcard views. Do your shopping beforehand!Translating
Basic motorhome site, not far from town on foot. The town itself does not have much to offer, so we stayed only one night.Translating
Nice site, close to the center. Good starting point for hikes and bike rides. The municipality makes an effort, especially at the tourist information office. Waste disposal is easy, and there is even a book exchange box! The road is a little annoying, but it is very quiet at night.Translating
