1 DOCKAN, 614 92, Söderköping
Been here?
Camping Skeppsdockans is a campsite directly beside the Göta Canal, with approximately 130 pitches, including almost 20 without electricity. The location is excellent for watching boats and exploring the canal and nearby Söderköping on foot or by bicycle. Facilities are clean and modern, with an Asian food truck on site that closes at 18:00 or 20:00 on weekends. Four toilets and four showers per gender are considered insufficient for the site, and hot water may run out.

Very nice campsite with everything you need. The only shortcoming preventing five stars is that four toilets per gender and four showers have to serve 130 pitches.Translating
It should actually have more stars, but the sanitary facilities are completely inadequate for a site of this size. Four showers per gender for 130 pitches is too few. When demand is high, the last users only get cold water.Translating
Fabulous location on the Gota canal to watch the yachts glide by, clean modern facilities, on site Thai food truck- delicious and good value, she shuts at 6pm 8 on the weekend, We walked along the canal into the pretty town of Soderkoping for ice cream, pretty square and fountains, unusual burnt wood church tower,
We spent Midsummer here. Very nice, clean campsite, also with bread-roll service at reception. Beautiful cycle paths along the canal. We would stay here again anytime. Highly recommended.Translating
Beautiful, well-maintained site directly on the Göta Canal. Friendly reception. Clean sanitary facilities. There is a food truck on site offering Asian food — very tasty! You can cycle or walk wonderfully along the Göta Canal. We can wholeheartedly recommend the site and would return.Translating
Beautiful site directly on the Göta Canal. The sanitary facilities are far from some pitches, but very clean.Translating
Nice campsite right beside the Göta Canal. Flat pitches, some with a gravel-and-grass combination. Nice, clean facilities. The service building is a long way from some pitches, but exercise never hurt anyone.Translating
Excellent campsite by the canal, very clean, organized and quiet. Spacious pitches with everything a camper needs. Very friendly staff, and the path along the canal into town is not far. We can recommend this campsite with a clear conscience.Translating
Could not test it; the campsite is closed until 2 April 2026.Translating
One of the most beautiful and cleanest campsites in Sweden. The service staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are adequate and exceptionally clean. The pitches are level and spacious. There is a food truck with delicious Asian dishes, and the route along the Göta Canal to Söderköping, Sweden's best ice cream and other restaurants is not far. Good Wi-Fi.Translating
Very nice, right beside the canal, with clean sanitary facilities and all services included in the price. One camper van and two people without electricity cost €26 (285 SEK). Reception is only open from 3 pm to 7 pm.Translating
Very pleasant reception. Beautiful view directly over the canal. Very clean sanitary facilities.Translating
A very beautiful place along a canal. The kitchen room with children's games is wonderful. Excellent for a family trip with children and a small camper. Level, spacious pitches. Average price.Translating
Nice place directly on the Göta Canal, exceptionally clean compared with other campsites in Sweden, with decent sanitary facilities. The value for money works for us!Translating
Directly on the Göta Canal, but only very few pitches have a canal view. The pitches are generously sized. The sanitary facilities are very clean, but one building is outdated and the other is somewhat cramped. Overall, there are too few facilities for the size of the site. 470 SEK for one night for two people is somewhat overpriced.Translating
Very, very beautiful campsite in a top location directly on the canal. A charming village and nature reserves are easily reachable on foot, so there is something for everyone. The sanitary facilities are very, very clean and modern, but somewhat limited in number. All in all, a campsite that is also suitable for several days.Translating
Pitches on grass or gravel are a sufficient size; sanitary facilities are clean. I did not find the noise from the E22 particularly bad. There are almost no pitches directly by the water, and they must be reserved in advance. 440 kronor for one person and one night. Unfortunately, the canal section around Söderköping is almost treeless and somewhat dull.Translating
Everything you need, but nothing more. The pitches are quite large, but you can only see the Göta Canal from a few pitches in the far corner toward the E22. Since the road is heavily trafficked from early morning until late evening, it can be heard throughout the site. The two service buildings were adequately sized even in high season and always clean. Bread-roll service available.Translating
Very well-located site directly on the canal and within walking distance of Söderköping. The big downside: rather expensive, with far too few toilets and showers. Fine for one night.Translating
Excellent and clean site right beside the canal. Even during peak season they can accommodate extra pitches, so there is always room. The village center and several locks are within very easy reach.Translating
Great place for one night by the canal. Water and waste facilities are good.Translating
Great site, clean and tidy showers. Free choice of pitch in the off-season. 375 SEK for two people and a campervan without electricity. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi is poor, hence four stars.
Great site! Everything is there! Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi is a joke again; after 8 pm it is unusable. And there are hardly any campers here.
A great site that delivers everything it promises. Excellent sanitary facilities and very nice staff.
Beautiful and peaceful location, friendly staff and neat facilities. A pleasant and complete place.
It delivers everything promised. We stayed for two nights after the last full weekend in early September and almost felt abandoned. Very friendly reception. Two people with a motorhome: 680 SEK.
Well-kept and genuinely clean site on the Göta Canal. The showers and toilets have all been relatively recently renovated; the older sanitary building is more spacious. There are two small cabins and a cozy-looking hikers' hostel. We stayed one night in our van directly at the dock, passing through without a reservation. Four and a half stars. Söderköping is also a pleasant little town and worth a short visit.
The pitches are unfortunately arranged somewhat unattractively side by side. The sanitary and service buildings, however, are nicely designed and very clean. Definitely recommended for one night.
