Basic parking, flea market closures

It is a shame that there are no services, but otherwise it is in a good location, especially if you are coming for a concert. Peaceful, relatively quiet, clean. We were careless and parked in the flea market area; vendors were already arriving at 4 a.m., but there was no problem. Olympiahalle is a 17-minute walk away, and the U3 metro is an easy 25-minute walk. Payment by card is possible.

Now €30/day! Without any infrastructure. I interpret this as an anti-motorhome measure.

We spent one night here. It is a basic parking lot. We stayed in Block 3 and it was very quiet. Pay attention to the signs indicating where the flea market begins, so you are not surprised the next day. We paid €25 for 24 hours.

Convenient for Munich, no services. We arrived at 7 p.m. and stayed one night, paying only €8. Unfortunately, it was very noisy until midnight; we recommend parking from Block 15 onward. It took us a while to level the vehicle because the spaces are not very straight. The spaces were clean and some were shaded.

It is difficult to do better for a large city. The parking lot is enormous and there is plenty of space. At the moment there is a fair near the Olympic Park with lots of different food stands—enough for a pleasant evening, and far enough away not to disturb your sleep. The U3 metro is a 10–15 minute walk away, with a direct line to the center. We recommend it.

We spent one night there in our campervan and paid €8. The site is very quiet after the flea market on Friday/Saturday, and the nearby Mittlerer Ring is barely audible. A toilet is available Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the tennis club near Block 10 for 50 cents.

Perfect for visiting the Tollwood Festival. Online reservation worked very well with license-plate recognition. The €10 fee for this is a bit much, making it €35 per night. Warning: it is best to park from Block 15 onward, especially if there is a flea market the next day! The motorhome-zone signs in Block 10 make no sense and should be changed.

Parking only, at €25 per day. The only advantage is its proximity to the tram, which takes you to the center in about 15 minutes. A quiet night despite the nearby road.

Ideally located next to the Olympic Stadium, but if you enter, we recommend staying the night. We stayed for three hours and paid €25... Feel free to try the zip line over the stadium, “Flying Fox,” or the rooftop course! Only two stars considering the price. (Motorhomes 6 m and under 3.5 t.)

Excellent parking for visiting Munich. A walk of about 15 minutes through the park, passing the memorial to the 1972 attack, takes you to the U3 metro station, which goes to Marienplatz. Road noise is slightly annoying. Price €8 per day for vehicles up to 3.5 t.

We stayed here for two nights. Very quiet and safe. Train and bus not far away. Great. Olympia Park is very nice to explore.

Very good and safe place in Munich.

Conveniently located and relatively safe parking option for reaching the city center by public transport. The price is not too high for a major city like Munich, even though no other services are offered. Compare it with the campsites, most of which are unfortunately closed in winter! Relatively quiet at night as traffic on the Mittlerer Ring decreases.

Very large parking lot suitable for overnight stays. The price for a campervan under 3.5 t was €8. If you park near the front, in Blocks 3 to 5, it is quiet at night despite the busy road. We attended a concert at Olympiahalle and spent the night here comfortably. The space in Block 5 was very level.

€25 for road noise and no services is too much for a motorhome. Even for motorhomes under 3.5 tonnes! Video recognition. Campervans might possibly be recognized as cars!

We spent several quiet nights here in our Sunlight Cliff 640 for €8. Everything under 3.5 t costs only €8, not €25.

Large parking lot between the Olympic Stadium and SAP Garden. I booked with an advance-sale fee, which I could have saved by arriving one day before the event. There is a flea market here on Fridays and Saturdays! The main road was completely inaudible in our campervan. I will leave the €25 price for 24 hours uncommented.

I understand that it is good to park here for events, or if you are going into the center during the day. But the traffic noise is terrible. The major road has traffic all night. Driving schools practice with cars and motorcycles in the parking lot until 9 p.m. and start again at 7 a.m.; large buses arrive throughout the day. No, I will choose another place next time.

For us, the place had everything we needed for Munich and the concert in the Olympic Park. Plenty of space, a public toilet nearby, water filling, and short routes into the city. Unfortunately, it is somewhat expensive for a site without any services (€25 per night). The noise level was absolutely acceptable.

June 24. One night during Euros. Germany were playing so very busy. They tolerate parking side on if your MH is 7m+. 20 other campers were here over night. Very quiet once all the normal parked cars had left. We would stay again if visiting Munich town centre or the Olympic Park. No services but still it’s very convenient. €25 for 24hrs, barriers on entry and exit.

We were there for the Metallica concert, entering Friday at 1 p.m. and leaving Sunday at 11 a.m. We paid €8 once for a T6 to the attendant at the entrance barrier, with no license-plate recognition. Since there was a second concert on Sunday and attendants were there again, we paid €8 at the exit. The site is clean, and there is a clean toilet at the tennis facility. It was quiet at night. Highly recommended!

Perfect location for self-sufficient vehicles, with no waste disposal or toilets. Warning: park in the rear rows at weekends, as setup for the flea market begins at 4:30 a.m. Overall, it was relatively quiet at night. We paid €10 for two days for a campervan. We would gladly return.
