A tarmac parking area at the southern entrance to Ropotamo Reserve, with shaded spaces near the river. The nearby road is very close and noisy, and the area has many small flies and, after dusk, thirsty mosquitoes. The ground farther north is very clayey, while continuing beyond the GPS point leads to a stabilized riverside area with abandoned pontoons.

There are several possibilities here for parking under trees in the shade. Now for the bitter pills: the road is very close and therefore noisy. The place is swarming with small, extremely annoying flies. They disappear at dusk, but then very thirsty mosquitoes arrive, and we fought a hopeless retreat against them. We moved on.
