Lakeside roadside, narrow winding roads

Good location, but there is quite a lot of traffic (less at night, but still some). In the morning we had quite a few cyclists and cars. Little privacy. A nice view of the lake, but mostly obscured by trees. The dogs barked until 11 p.m. On the other hand, there is a beautiful view of the starry sky and morning shade on the left side!✦Translating

Quiet night in a very beautiful landscape, with Lake Chaudanne below and still-snow-covered ridges on the other side. Ideal spot for a single van beside the road, under a hairpin bend. Almost clean, cleaned by us. Do not leave toilet paper; take it with you!✦Translating

Looked like a great spot but we couldn’t get near due to all roads in the area being covered in snow because it is so high up (early march) and the roads are very windy. Could still be a great spot later in the year though.
