Great spot for the night. The first spot is closest to the toilets and houses (probably also the most sheltered), the second where we stayed is right above the harbor and still quite sheltered from the wind, the third is the prettiest but was too windy. we were the only ones there last night. Toilets and area are super clean. Some data but unreliable.
Fantastic place to stop. Try and get there whilst the seafood stall is open. I had a fantastic lobster dinner. Very quiet and scenic place to stay.
Great place to stop and we had a lovely peaceful night here. Made our donation. There were 4 other vans when we arrived spread out along the harbour, we felt safe and had plenty of room. Views of the sea and surrounding area were just stunning.
All you could want from a park up - very windy but perfect stormy Scotland. One other car with a tent box there when we arrived and probably not space for anything else, but plenty further down and by the toilets. Toilets clean and locally maintained.
Amazing location. We stayed in the far location by the bothy. Paid £7 by scanning to QR code. Very windy night but we were sheltered by the bothy.
Superb, quiet spot at a small harbour.
Beautiful, quiet little spot. 3 dotted along - spaces beside toilet, this one in the middle and one right at the end beside the picnic benches and essentially your own private beach. We stopped around 6, used the QR code to pay for the stop. Toilets open all night, very clean and quiet. There were 2 campers at the end spot and none at the toilets with just us in the middle. Never seen so many stars and listening to the waves to go to sleep was amazing! So glad we stopped here and would recommend 100000%! Please, please, please donate to keep beautiful stops like this available
The most perfect location. We had the end space by the picnic benches, flat enough without levellers. Toilets open all night & spotlessly clean. The only sound overnight was the waves. Lovely walk along the opposite beach path to the white castle. Be sure to pay the £7, the trust needs these donations for the ongoing maintenance. 100% recommended & we would definitely stay again.
I have stayed the night here a few times and have never had any issues. They do have public toilets which say on them 'no disposal of chemical waste'
Fantastic area that now has an online link and QR to pay without needing cash. Lots of information and the QR code on a sign up near Tasty Toes the food truck.
Great spot, thank you to the locals for providing this. donation made
A paradise for relaxing, looking out over the Norwegian Sea while enjoying two crab sandwiches. Please make a donation; the entire site and the toilets, which are open all night, are extremely clean. A perfect night!
Beautiful spot at the harbour with a view of the sea. Public toilets nearby, open overnight. We took a walk along the river to a well-preserved broch. The snack bar at the harbour is recommended; they have good crab sandwiches. Donations are requested to maintain the harbour and can be put in the donation boxes.
Parking area with toilets and a donation box; it is worth leaving something to help maintain the place. Well-maintained space. If you have children, there is a playground and a small beach with a box full of toys.
This parking area is not approved for motorhomes! It is designated as a disabled parking space. There is still enough room in the other two spaces.
Idyllic views. There is a lovely walk to a cave just over the bridge. The toilets are open all night and very clean. There were about 6 spaces total. The following day, we had an amazing crab sandwich from the little shop next door. I wish we had bought more than one.
Great—lovingly designed harbour with public toilets. We think the requested donation is worthwhile. We were alone there overnight.
Lovely spot, be sure to leave money in the honesty box. We had great views and even watched some seals in the harbour. Signal a bit inconsistent.
Wonderful, peaceful place with a beautiful view of the bay, flower boxes and benches. Clean toilets nearby. Thank you!! Keep it clean and put something in the donation box so they can continue maintaining it so beautifully.
