Access from Abergavenny involves about a mile and a half of steady uphill driving on a narrow, overgrown lane with few passing places. It is suitable for daytime walking visits.

Ok for day parking to hike. The access road is incredibly narrow and overgrown! Didn’t bother us but if your precious about your vehicle avoid.
No overnight stays; it is part of the wave of campsite closures in Brecon Beacons National Park.
