Mountain parking, poor facilities

Slept wonderfully peacefully. A dog watched over us during the night. The fountain no longer looks very good, and the cozy shelters and benches have seen better days. In early July there are many flies. We moved the bus and it immediately got better. The restaurant is in a dilapidated state. So, just a beautiful basic place with a wonderful view over the valley and mountain.

Spacious, level parking with a superb view. Access is indeed via a hairpin bend if you arrive from below the village, but you can continue straight and turn around 100 m farther on to take it in the correct direction. I have a 6.4 m vehicle and had no problem. The night was very quiet. There is a large white dog that sometimes barks, but it is friendly.

Three stars because there are hundreds of processionary moth caterpillar nests nearby. For those with pets, the place is not recommended depending on the season. Be careful: access is via a hairpin bend when arriving from below the village. However, there is no problem at the spot a little farther down.

an amazing place with mountain views and an unforgettable night at la noi tavern (as others have all said!). the best hospitality and experience and the yummiest home cooked food and home made wine! parking was flat and peaceful, we had it all to ourselves in March.

This is a gem of a spot. Beautiful views on a clear day and really quiet. The two dogs that roam the area are super friendly, playful and loving. As others have said, La Noi tavern is superb. The hospitality we received there is second to none and super friendly folks. The vegetarian food options were yummy! Treat this spot (&the dogs) with all the care and respect they deserve.

Just as good as description and reviews. The wonderful owner of La Noi tavern (you must eat there, the vegetable dishes in particular were excellent, meat also great, all local products) assured us it was no problem to stay here and knew it was on Park4night. Two perfect nights, we use it as the base for the long but lovely walk up to Skolio peak.

Perfect! We came here to escape the heatwave—43°C on the road in the afternoon, but 19°C here at night! We had a lovely time in the shade without bothering anyone, and the locals we met were very welcoming. We ate very well at the village restaurant, as mentioned previously; it was perfect and inexpensive (€38 for two adults and two children). There is still a water hose.

I agree with the previous comments! Superb place, and above all, go and eat at La Noi restaurant. They are very kind and the food is simply perfect!

This is a sublime parkup if you are lucky with the weather! Big space, and fantastic views. Sakis and Antonia will welcome you warmly to their taverna, La Noi. The E4 path up the mountain starts from the parkup: worth going up part way at least for the views. We didn’t stay overnight, but only because it was forecast to be very cold overnight: definitely would have done otherwise.

Lovely place, very cool view. There are houses not far away but it felt very and locals were very welcoming. Dinner at local taverna La noi is highly recommended (it doesn't get much more authentic than that). The mountain hikes are extraordinary (albeit it is serious hiking, 5hrs ). Decent 4g coverage.

We had a very peaceful night! Great view, fresh air (much appreciated when it is 35 degrees or more) and no mosquitoes! Very friendly and welcoming locals.

Lovely place with an excellent view over the valley. The people from the village are very nice and welcoming, there is a tavern with good local food. The place is flat, very quiet and safe. There is elektricity and water. Thanks to the community for keeping this place so clean!

Nothing special. You will be greeted by two very friendly dogs!

Lovely spot, great view, also in winter time. easy to get there. If you take the lower street to enter the village, you avoid the U-turn. Otherwise you can easily turn around a bit further down the street. Some residential and street dogs around. Friendly people and bar/restaurant nearby. good 4G signal. multiple water sources in and around the village.

Everything is as already described—a great place! Don’t be put off by the tight hairpin bend; turning around once is no problem. Do not choose another route, as they are impassable gravel roads!

Beautiful place in the middle of the village, on a village square, with large shady trees and a great view. There is a playground and a working water tap on a tree. Very nice people here, and peaceful. A lovely little mountain village, and it is worth visiting a tavern.

Early June. Great place, very quiet, with excellent hiking. A very timid stray dog barks from time to time. Very friendly locals. We felt good here. I didn’t dare try the electrical hookups. I found the tap on a tree in the center. There was no water at the fountain.
