60 Grassiweg, 3714, Frutigen
Been here?
Small, well-kept campsite by a river near Frutigen, popular for its friendly staff and spotless facilities. Pitches are grassy or gravel and mostly flat, with easy walking access into the village. Water, electricity, showers and a washing machine are available; a free guest card gives discounted local transport. Prices run around 30-40 CHF for a van plus two people with electricity. Booking ahead is wise in peak season as it can fill up, but it stays calm and family-friendly, with riverside paths for walks or cycling.

The value for money is simply right here! We stopped spontaneously and were even able to stay three nights over the weekend. The washing machine is brand new and extremely cheap! Thirty minutes costs CHF 1—be sure to bring cash!Translating
The people running this campsite are very kind. The campsite is very clean. I recommend it. DorothéeTranslating
Very clean and large campsite. Latest check-in is at 8 p.m. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could. The toilets were far too far away for the size of the campsite, and the path was not lit at night.Translating
Great little campsite, friendly staff, available to book at short notice, clean and tidy sanitary facilities for women and men. We felt very comfortable. Despite the heat in Europe, the climate here was very pleasant.Translating
Very nice camping place with all facilities and a river in the backyard. We liked how much nature sorrounded the car and the quietness!Translating
Wow, what a campsite and what a welcome! A peaceful campsite beside the river with direct access to trails. We also had access to barbecues with wood provided! We were also given a free card with discounts throughout the region, especially on transport, and sometimes even free activities! In short, we stayed for two days and it was incredible.Translating
Pleasant welcome. A good campsite with everything available; the facilities are a little old but clean and tidy. Wi-Fi is available. We were able to borrow an electrical adapter because Switzerland uses a different type of socket. We received a guest card that allowed us to travel free of charge in the area by bus and train. Visit Wengen—it is fantastic.Translating
Super-friendly staff, clean and good facilities, beautiful surroundings.Translating
A superb campsite, simple but comfortable. The welcome is excellent: the staff are available, competent, and give very good advice. I should mention that the price is very reasonable for Switzerland. Campervan, two people, electricity, three nights: CHF 109.50. We will return. Thank you.Translating
Really good facilities, a lovely campsite—we came back two days later. We would definitely recommend the place. They could even speak Danish, a big plus!Translating
Very pleasant, quiet campsite with immaculate sanitary facilities. The pitches are well marked and maintained. Highly recommended.Translating
Highly recommended place. It only opens on 1 April. We paid CHF 36.50 at reception, including electricity; the bathrooms and showers were very clean and heated. Very close to the centre of Frutigen for a walk. 5 stars.Translating
Amazing camping! We wanted to stay 1 night, but stayed 2. Nice river and possibilities to walk. Close to the little village where you can buy groceries. The bread from the bakery was very good. Friendly operator. Nice places on gravel or grass. Showers and toilets were clean. There is also a room with a couple tables and couches with a tv. Highly recommend this place! Translating
One of the best campsites we have stayed at. Super-friendly staff, very clean and complete facilities. Water, waste disposal, showers, etc. are included in the price. The campsite is small but very peaceful, with a river nearby that is great for walking. Highly recommended.Translating
Good campsite with all the necessary services.Translating
Great spot, very well-located campsite. I went there with my van; the sanitary facilities and shower were very clean. Bicycles are available to borrow on request. Nothing to complain about—I recommend it.Translating
Very good campsite, with all the facilities you need. We arrived without a reservation and fortunately they had one pitch available. Clean facilities and very friendly owners. We came with two dogs and had no problems.Translating
Clean and well-maintained campsite, with practical amenities for campers. We stayed for two nights. Very pleasant, along a river. Quiet and relaxing. Price consistent with the facilities offered.Translating
Flat pitches, clean facilities, a play area for children, and spectacular views. There was a full sign outside, but we asked just in case and one pitch was available. CHF 50.10 for a pitch, two adults, two children, and electricity.Translating
Very peaceful campsite beside the river. Clean toilets, guest card, bread service, and close to the village. With the guest card, you can travel around the area by public transport and get many other benefits. What a shame we booked only one night. We regret not taking the opportunity to explore this area instead of going to Lauterbrunnen, where everything is overcrowded. CHF 100 for a camper and a family of four for two nights.Translating
Beautiful mountain campsite, quiet, with spacious green pitches. Basic but clean facilities. Direct access to the river and hikes in the area. Charming little hut full of children's games and a playground. We definitely recommend it! Close to the village and well connected by bus.Translating
Campsite with a decent pitch. Very clean shower and toilet. Village 10 minutes away on foot. Quiet.Translating
Magnificent, peaceful, family campsite. We had a wonderful stay and will certainly return. The pitches are spacious and the sanitary facilities are very clean. The guest card entitles you to free public transport in the region.Translating
Quiet family campsite. Superb welcome. We arrived late and were able to get a pitch for our large van. Very clean sanitary facilities, which was greatly appreciated.Translating
Great campsite, friendly welcome. We called spontaneously in the afternoon and were given a reserved pitch. On a Saturday in high season—excellent! The only drawback is that the Wi-Fi is too weak for the size of the site.Translating
Quiet campsite, beautiful mountain views, close to the town and supermarkets, with very clean sanitary facilities.Translating
