Riverside parking, cold showers

Indeed, being near the water means there are quite a few insects in the evening, but it is not too bothersome. The place is magnificent and very quiet, the parking area is large and very little used. A negative point is the facilities: the showers have no doors, but otherwise the toilets are usable, just poorly maintained. Still a lovely experience; I recommend it for one night, it is very good!✦Translating

It’s a lovely spot but on a Saturday night we felt vulnerable on our own so we moved on. Nothing to say you can’t stop but it’s a municipal car park to stop by the river. Maybe fine but we didn’t risk it. Very isolated.

Very quiet place for the night with a beautiful view of the Rhône. The available toilets and shower are in very poor condition but work. A walking trail and plenty of bins.✦Translating

Perfect for parking, sleeping and enjoying the view of the Rhône with more than twenty swans. Quiet, clean, tables available, bins everywhere, glass recycling, toilets and water points. Very long parking area with plenty of space, but a road runs through it, so there is some traffic in the morning. Very beautiful view of the lake! (Insects in the evening because it is close to the lake.) Showers without doors (cold water) and toilets. Picnic table and table tennis.✦Translating

Pleasant location, but a real motorway at wake-up time (7:30 a.m.), even though the parking area leads nowhere. Otherwise, the night was quiet.✦Translating

Quiet place with a view of the Rhône. There are reasonably good squat and regular toilets; at least I was able to empty my cassette and top up the water using a container. It is raining this weekend, so there is nobody here, much to my delight. Between showers I can mountain-bike on the ViaRhôna, which passes right next to the parking area, and kayak.✦Translating
