A spacious parking area beside Lake Øyarvatn, with a second area for 2 vehicles slightly higher up and excellent lake views. The site is quiet, though a high-voltage line can be heard slightly, and mobile reception is absent. No drinking-water tap or source was found, while arctic blackberries are available a few ten minutes’ walk away.

Beautiful spot. We came to get some drinking water but could nit find any tap or source.
I stayed in the upper area. The view is great and there was only one other motorhome present. It is very quiet, although you can hear the high-voltage power line a little. Anyone reliant on mobile data will not be happy here. You can say good night to the sheep. They seem fascinated by motorhomes. I had their company for half the night.Translating
