Gravel parking, cows at night

Large two-level gravel area. Go to the one at the back; it is farther from the road, which has very little traffic. On the edge of a forest, but nothing particularly beautiful all around. Very good for a stopover.✦Translating

Nice quiet level area off the road (we parked on the upper bit), just a few dog walkers passed. Be aware - we were visited by cows at 9pm and they didn’t leave us alone until 2-3am, licking and rubbing heads etc against the van. Would avoid because of this!

Parking area with a bit of construction work. We slept at the top rather than down below directly next to the road. Very quiet, close to nature. 30 minutes from Alesund.✦Translating

Basically a suitable place for one night. We were there with a roof tent when a small herd of cows surprised us. We barely managed to get the dog into the car before we were surrounded. So be prepared for that.✦Translating

I drove up the road behind the barrier. There are small spots with benches. It costs 5 NOK to use the road; the barrier is not locked. It is absolutely quiet.✦Translating
