Quiet paved area, no electricity

We used the pitch for an overnight stop because we had to take the ferry the next morning. We would definitely come here again. On the way to Piombino there are several shopping and fuel options. Entry and payment worked without any problems. At night, some people talked quite loudly for a long time in the car park below.

We had to stop in Piombino for one night, and while searching the app I saw this camper stop and liked the reviews. So my husband and I decided to try it, and I must say everything was perfect and functional. Just take a ticket at the entrance and pay at the machine like in any ordinary car park. This will definitely be our go-to place whenever we are in the area.

We needed to use the camper service after a trip whose itinerary had not allowed us to find any dumping areas. An EXCELLENT SOLUTION for a short stop: €3 for 3 hours and €7 for 24 hours; paid fresh-water refill is €0.50 for 50 liters.

To get in drive over the pressure pad by the ticket column. Press the button when it flashes to print the entry ticket. Before leaving pay at the club hut and then insert your ticket at the exit. €7/24 hours. Flat with quite a bit of shade. Waste water disposal, can refill fresh water for a nominal fee. Only down side was the lights on all night and dog barking most of the night otherwise quiet.

Very clean and tidy place in greenery, just a short walk from the thermal baths. Peaceful, quiet and well lit at night, with very wide pitches and only a slight slope. Impeccable and spotless water and waste services, all for a ridiculously low price compared with what is offered—practically everything a camper expects to find. Congratulations to the people who manage it.

We were here yesterday evening. Very quiet and clean place; we spent €7 for the night. The place is worth the price.

Clean and spacious, with many wide spaces. The entire area is clean and well maintained, below Venturina Castle. There are well-maintained facilities for emptying the toilet and gray water and filling up with water. There is a recycling area. An excellent place to spend the night and take the ferry to Elba the next day or continue a journey. Recommended.

The area is very good, although it has no electricity. I slept one night and took the opportunity to change the water and empty the tanks. Everything was fine and quiet.

Excellent level camper stop at the right price.

At 8:30 p.m. it was impossible to enter. The barrier remained closed, for whatever reason. There were other campers there, though.

March 26, 2026 This car park is on our list of favorites. We come here at least a couple of times a year for the thermal baths. We find it very convenient, clean and very quiet. It is also convenient because of its proximity to the supermarket and the thermal pond in the nearby municipal park.

Convenient stop, used by us only for the camper service while passing through (€3 for 3 hours plus €0.50 for water). Everything is automatic, electronic payments, clear instructions.

We were here only to use the camper service. You still have to pay €3 to enter. The parking area is well maintained and the facilities work. To fill up with water, you first need to buy another ticket at the machine at the entrance to the Camper Club, where you also pay for the stay, following the instructions.

Great for spending the night, €7 is completely fair. You can dispose of rubbish.

Excellent for visiting the Calidario thermal baths, which are truly just a few steps away. On interlocking paving, level and lit; the only drawback is the lack of electricity. Automated payment system: take a ticket at the entrance and pay by card before leaving.

Access restricted to members who hold a membership card. The telephone number does not exist. The barrier does not open. Last year we stayed here and everything was in order and well maintained. What a shame.

Okay, but perhaps the free parking area below the stadium would be just as good. At this area, putting out a table is forbidden, there are no toilets, and it is not great. Okay for one night.

Convenient and very quiet area. Clean and tidy, with very courteous volunteers who provide assistance. Ideal for spending a few days at the thermal baths and visiting the surroundings (we had a scooter). There is no electricity, but with our solar panels we are fine. Water and waste services okay. We spent two quiet nights here and were able to use the services wonderfully. Everything is described perfectly, and in an emergency the site manager and others are wonderfully helpful. Thank you very much for that :)

One star. To get the water card, the terminal requested €110. Obviously I did not pay, but it still charged me for entry to the parking area. Avoid!!

To enter and use the service, you have to take a ticket, meaning you must pay for at least three hours plus the service inside; it is not worth it.

Top place to spend the night, for example before the ferry to Piombino or to visit the thermal baths. Very quiet night. The restaurant “Ci si trova lì 2'” is highly recommended, especially the pizza with lardo and mushrooms.

Toilet disposal broken, ants everywhere—being outside is therefore very unpleasant. Contrary to some reviews, there are no showers. Okay for one night while passing through, but having a relaxed breakfast is too much if you like staying outdoors.

Great place to stay before the ferry to Elba. Everything spotlessly clean. Water costs extra; you buy it at the parking meter and then use the ticket to activate the tap.

Well-maintained camper area at reasonable prices. The area is very quiet; we left the camper for four days. Unfortunately, there is no electricity and it is a little sloped.

Since this year (2025), it is paid. See photo for the price. Quiet and clean place, five minutes on foot from the thermal baths. There are no services and no electricity. The parking area is illuminated at night. Venturina is about 20 minutes on foot, or 5–10 minutes by camper or bicycle depending on your destination. There are 3 supermarkets, including Conad with its fuel station offering the best prices in the area. Edy
