A highway rest area for trucks, cars and campers, suitable for a quick stop but not considered suitable for longer stays. It is noisy during the day because only a small embankment separates it from the highway. Break-ins and thefts have been reported, so the area feels unsafe for overnight stays.

This is probably a good place for services and a for a quick stop along the road, but we didn't find it suitable for staying longer because, in October, it was noisy during the day because there wasn't even a small wall separating it from the highway, just a small embankment. We felt unsafe.
We spent the night without any problem, but when we woke up, the neighbours in the camper next to us had called the police because their lock had been forced and their cash stolen. Nothing happened to us, but the police officer questioned us and said that roadside areas in France are very dangerous, with gangs from Eastern Europe, and that thefts happen every night.
I have rarely slept so peacefully at a motorway rest area.
We stopped to rest a little before continuing our journey, for only five hours. We were surprised to find the driver's door open and that everything we had in the door had been stolen. Be very careful; we were sleeping inside the van and did not notice.
