Woodland streamside area, dated facilities

€30 per day, parked in a hole or in the sun all day, possibly without electricity. Paid showers are a rip-off, the operators are nonexistent, and the pitches are cramped to the limit. Booking is online only with advance payment—just perfect if you do not want campers. You are on the right track.

€30 with showers costing €0.50 is really too much. There are few electrical hookups and they are very far apart. Suggestion: charge separately for electricity and use an access code for entry and exit. If you want to prevent people who are not staying in the area from using the facilities, put a code on the facilities too. Then the price would be justified.

€25 per night is a bit expensive, especially considering that showers cost extra—50 cents. The pitches around the facilities are very, too close together; the ones in the middle of the woods are better. The facilities are somewhat dated and poorly maintained.

Avoid it. The owners seem intent on ruining the mountain, with snow parties attended by up to 5,000 people, a total lack of bins and police, and complete chaos as a result: fireworks, confetti, and deafening music, all for the modest price of €35! The electrical hookups keep tripping, the bathrooms are dilapidated, and during these events youngsters try to break into campers and throw firecrackers nearby.

Excellent area for summer hikes or skiing when there is snow—which, unfortunately, is how it is in the Apennines. Very close to the slopes and rental shops. The adjacent Tana del Lupo refuge is great fun. Arrive with a well-stocked fridge: there are no shops where you can buy groceries!

Quiet place, convenient for trails and the facilities in winter. At this time of year there is no hot water in the facilities, so no shower, but the toilets are accessible. There were only three campers in total. Water and waste disposal available.

I confirm the facilities mentioned, but the price is now €25 per day, including 230 V electricity. As already written, the area is in a beautiful location, perfect for hiking and for the winter facilities. Nearby there is also a campsite with a small minimarket, bar, and restaurants. During the Ferragosto holiday, the campers were really close together—far too close—and many were practically always in the sun. What a shame.

Only one star because the place used to be wonderful, but now they have narrowed the pitches to fit in more and more campers. Everyone is crammed together; you cannot open your window if your neighbour has already opened theirs. A wonderful place ruined by the operators. On the other hand, the woods and trails are superb, with hikes of varying difficulty, including easy ones for families with children.

Gravel motorhome area with electricity, water, and basic facilities. We stayed one night and were surrounded by long-term campers who were taking it easy. Excellent starting point for hikes on Mount Cimone.

Organized motorhome area with a small building containing toilets, hot water, showers for 50 cents, a sink for washing dishes with hot water, a relaxation room, and water and waste disposal. Since we passed through during the week, there was only one other camper. It fills up at weekends; at most, you can use the car park in front. The price, including electricity, is €15, payable at Tana del Lupo.

The best, surrounded by nature and wonderfully cool in summer. You absolutely must try the restaurant 200 m farther down, at the foot of the ski lifts. We stuffed ourselves, and the prices were amazing. It is called Tana del Lupo. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic place, electricity available, and more than reasonably priced. Water and waste disposal and coin-operated showers. Possibility of parking near the woods.

Summer rate: €15 flat fee for two people. Showers cost €0.50 per token, with each shower lasting one minute. Not exactly ideal. The woman who runs it is rude and ill-mannered.

As already mentioned, in winter it costs €25 including electricity and facilities. Showers use 50-cent coins. In my opinion it should cost less, but it is very convenient for the ski lifts, three ski schools, and three equipment-rental shops. A few metres away you can park without facilities for €6 per day; overnight parking is free. There is also a campsite on the slopes with motorhome pitches, but I do not know the price.

We slept at the entrance to the village because the motorhome area was full. Recommended for excellent walking and/or mountain-bike excursions.

In summer you can start hikes, and in winter use the ski facilities. The toilets are too small and cramped, and the service area is inconvenient for emptying tanks; there should be more electrical hookups.
