Parking by Fågelsundet, an old fishing village on the northernmost part of Hållnäshalvön. The area has a 2 km nature trail, sea views, fishing huts and varied bird and plant life. Parking and rest benches are available, but camping is prohibited and caravans may be difficult when the lot is full.

At first we hesitated because it is close to the road, but all the conveniences and the friendly owner made us stay. Wonderful shower, although there is a small boiler so you cannot shower one after another. We used the washing machine, cooked an elaborate meal with everything provided, and ate at the table overlooking the meadow and forest; the large window is like a painting. We filled up with water and emptied the toilet—absolutely great! The road is quieter at night.
